11 Thoughts to “He is Risen, Happy Easter!”

As the people on BVBL are complaining about the lack of compulsary Religious comments on this site, I just wanted to take this moment to wish everyone a Happy Easter.

Jesus cast away all the complex confused man-written Dogma when he was asked “What is the greatest commandment of them all.”

He said the greatest commandment is to love the Lord your God with ALLL your heart, MIND and strength.

Under that you are to love you Neighbor as yourself.

No footnotes, no ifs, ands or buts

A human being who commits thier life to doing the Will of God has but to follow these two simple laws.

Yet many people choose to justify theri selfish earthly desires by adding their own weak clauses and exemptions to the Word of God. Many people follow the misguided phliosophy of Paul, or the self reflections of John (as good intentioned as they may have been) as opposed to the word’s of Jesus, which are a clarification to the human race on what God’s true intentions were in the Commandments to humankind.

So here’s a Happy Easter to Greg who is like unto the Judge in Jesus’ Parable of the Good Samaritan… The Judge could see, but ignored The man who lay bleeding on the side of the road, for he was unclean and not of the same cast as the Judge… In fact it was the Samaritan, the bleeding man’s supposed enemy, his asstranged neighbor who tossed all biased dogmatic convention asside and helped his brother in humanity.

SO here is a happy Easter to all, may we learn to reflect on Jesus’s words and life, as opposed to the simple biggoted rhetroic of those who would have him crucified again should he return this year.

To whomever suggested those that did not believe in Jesus Christ were vile and evil, I am neither. I called all my close friends, most of whom are not Jewish and wished them a Happy Easter. I find it interesting that no one on BVBL raised a ruckus when Greg did not post Happy Passover. The hypocrisy just never stops. I may not believe in the premise that Jesus is G-d, but I do believe in his message of love and kindness. He who has not sinned should cast the first stone ,may be a good place to start for alot of people on BVBL.

I hope everyone had a blessed Easter. The Passover began at sundown on April 8 and will continue until sundown on April 15. For those of you who celebrate the Passover, I hope you are blessed as well. Although I am not Jewish, the Passover is a time of celebration for me as a Christian. The Passover has great significanc to those who are believers.

Thanks for the post Rod2155. I have been telling folks for years if they want to know how to live their life, be fulfilled and happy just read the “red” parts in the New Testament. There they will find the wisdom of Jesus.

    Hi Marie,
I hope you had a wonderful Easter with your friends and family! Nice to have you visit, I’ve missed you 🙂

This is the first Passover that I did not do a full blown Sedar. My little Eli was really sick, so he spent the first four days of Passover in bed, battling a high high fever. I may “cheat” a little and do Sedar this coming Saturday instead…shhhhhh 😉

I have placed a comment regarding opinions on this thread on the open thread from the weekend. I don’t feel it belongs here.

Thanks, Elena. I have been tied up with other things. I have been visiting just have not taken the time to post. Sorry to hear that Eli has been ill. I won’t tell anyone about your Sat. Sedar. I don’t think God will feel like you are cheating. Man makes all those rules!!!
    Blessings.

I find it interesting that you didn’t post anything about Passover HERE.

    You Wish,
My little boy was running a fever of over 103, he was very ill all week, writing a post about Passover on a blog was the last thing on my mind. I guess you didn’t read my comment to Marie at 20:48.

Actually, you wish, no one here commented one way or the other who posted what regarding religious holidays. That might be the difference you overlooked. The criticism was all uni-directional. It all started at the usual source of malcontent.
