Despite rumors (read lies) to the contrary, the Creigh Deeds Campaign in opening another branch office in the Sudley area in the K-Mart Shopping Center.

The Deeds campaign is alive and well in Prince William County. Don’t think otherwise. Antibvbl.net has not been endorsing candidates. However, we do attempt to correct errors that are floating about when no one else steps up to the plate.

The address is 7835 Sudley Road, Suite 102, Manassas, Virginia.

Does anyone know where McDonnell’s field office is?

  2. Slowpoke Rodriguez

    A regular “blue light special”!!

  3. Slowpoke Rodriguez

There’s one in Fairfax and a few others around. My bumper sticker and yard sign should be here shortly!!!

  4. McDonnell’s field office:

    Prince William
    4431 Prince William Parkway

  5. Opinion

Cindyb, that’s the Prince William County Republican Committee’s office, not a dedicated McDonnell field office. I honestly don’t think he has his own dedicated field office in PWC (not that there’s anything wrong with that… to quote Seinfeld).

  6. Moon-howler

Why wouldn’t there be a dedicated McDonnell office here in Prince William County? I would think he would be in here duking it out.

  7. Opinion

Moon-howler, good question (re McDonnell’s field office, or lack of one). I know he is paying a lot of attention to Fairfax… taking us for granted or writing us off as irrelavent?

  8. Moon-howler

I would be in here duking it out if I were McD. Obama didn’t exactly sweep PWC. There is lots of wiggle room out there and the vote could go either way. If he wants Republicans and Independents at the polls, he had better come in here and work the masses. I hope he isn’t reading the blog that inspired this post/thread and assuming Creigh conceded. That’s not going to happen any time soon.

  9. Slowpoke Rodriguez

    @Moon-howler
Sooo, you think all the kooks who came out and voted for Obama (most of whom wish they could take it back now) are going to show up for Deeds? You don’t know that the only reason Worthless Connolly is your Rep is because he was on the same ticket as Obama? You think Obama will be there to help out Deeds? If he does show up, it’ll hurt more than help! Think Obama’s going to be there to save Worthless’ behind next time around? Hope you don’t bet too much on that!

  10. Moon-howler

Worthless Wolf is my rep, not Worthless Connolly.

Slow, you are pinning something on me I didn’t say. I think the point of my paragraph was that PW is probably up for grabs and giving reason for McD to put in more of an appearance.

Will the kooks come out for Deeds? I don’t know

Connolly rode in on Obama’s coat tails? I don’t know that either

Will Obama hurt Deeds? I don’t know.

Were you one of the ones who continually blasted McCain? I can’t remember.

Connolly’s opponent was far right. (Clarabelle horn sound)

  11. Slowpoke Rodriguez

Worthless Wolf…I’ve heard that about him!!
Yes, I blasted McCain. Still can’t stand him. The choice was McCain (Bush III), or Obama, and let voters get a good strong whiff of liberal government, complete with Communist radicals, utterly destroyed economy, and absolute weakness in the face of enemies. It’ll hurt, but I’ll take the Obama medicine, and hope it wakes America up.

OK, I said “you” and “your” too much, when I really wasn’t trying to argue with YOU, but the invisible “you” that is the left. That make any sense?

  12. Moon-howler

Yes, it makes sense. I have to remind myself about the invisible you.

I don’t really think Wolf is worthless. I was just chiming back at ya. There are a lot worse than Wolf out there.

Probably where I take issue is that the Obama didn’t ruin the economy. Neither did Bush really. Unregulated real estate, SEC laxness, and unregulated banking practices started the ball rolling for sure. Hedge funds still have very little regulation.

I actually felt like I was between the devil and the deep blue sea. People got a good strong wiff of neo-con and that made them cross on over, I guess. Bush had some real bad advisors.

I didn’t hate McCain. I couldn’t vote for Palin. I don’t hate her. I just didn’t think she was pres material. Far from it. Not even sure she was gov material. I think she would fit as a state delegate or BOCS.

  13. Slowpoke Rodriguez

Palin is at least 100 times more qualified to be Pres. than Obama or Biden….but I know that’s a hole that will suck up everything around it. Palin will make a good fundraiser and now that she’s out of the Governor’s mansion, she can fire back at anyone she pleases and take shots of her own.

  14. Moon-howler

Slow, and I am sure she will. I am not sure what ‘qualifies’ a person to be a president. I totally disagree with you about comparing her to Obama or Biden. Biden has been a senator for years. He had chaired committees and he has international experience out the ying yang.

I suppose it all boils down to which person best reflects one’s political views. Palin does not reflect mine. Obama and McCain were a toss up. I had concerns about Obama and I had some issues with McCain I didn’t care for. They probably equalled out. Biden, in my mind, wins hands down over Palin.

As for Palin being able to maverick on her own, she sure can. I am not sure where she wants to go with this. My guess would be 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

Don’t forget that Van Jones is also now a free agent. He is already becoming a martyr. Of course, so is she. Both can play victim mentality to the hilt.

  15. GainesvilleResident

I don’t know about Biden. He can’t even take a speech that was written for Obama and make it his own – instead referring to himself as the president when he reads this speech just a few days ago – http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2009/sep/04/curl-biden-fills-vacationing-obamas-void/

At least he’s good for comic relief. What else he’s good for, I’m not sure.

  16. Moon-howler

Most of us couldn’t. It should have been rewritten before being loaded into the teleprompter. Maybe all the I’s should have been we’s. That sort of change is not something people can do on their feet, especially since it involves verb changes.

Senate Judiary, Foreign Relations Chair. Contentious Supreme Court confirmations and non-confirmations. Experience few have.

I don’t agree with all his politics but I respect his experience. 4th most senior senator when he resigned. Had I been Sen. Biden, I would have stayed in the senate.

He would have moved up to third now. Only Senator Inouye and Senator Byrd would have more seniority. Senator Inouye is 85 and Byrd is 90 something. That is sort of remarkable in itself. Have I overlooked a sitting senator with longer tenture?

At any rate, there simply is no comparison between him and Sarah Palin. Plus she is prettier.

Interesting how closet racists (read: people who post with racist monikers on this blog) are totally in love with McDonnell. They always seem to be for the Republicans for some reason. And totally against Obama, no surprise there.

Every time Racist Moniker Man posts on any issue other than immigration (his primary reason for obsessively hating this blog), he just reminds us of the racism problem that is the no-so-invisible elephant in the room for the Republican Party.

Non-racist Republicans: what are you going to do about people like this always embarrassing your party??? I don’t think it works to just ignore them anymore.

Anyway, who lied about Deeds not having a PWC office? Could it be Racist Moniker Man’s idol?

  18. Moon-howler

Shelly, I don’t think that Slow has ever said he hated this blog. He represents a different point of view, as does Second Alamo but both of them have always expressed their opinions rather than doing drive by sniping. I consider them regulars and I don’t consider their monikers out of line.

Both have always been courteous to me. They are both conservative. That’s ok. They don’t wear tinfoil hats. I will defend both and consider them part of Antibvbl. I generally don’t agree with them nor them with me. That’s what makes horse races.

The dark screen is who lied about Deed’s offices. An ex party member from over there alerted me to the fact that they were moving in. I called the Deeds headquarters in Alexandria and PWDC in Dale City for confirmation. I posted all phone numbers for non-believers.

Back to our regulars, I think all of us have done our fair share of throwing out red meat lately.

Had Foster’s for dinner tonight and checked out the location. The For Lease sign is gone, and signs and workers were in the space that was supposedly abandonded. I saw a couple coming out with a yard sign. It hardly looked liked a campaign that had given up PWC. The spin doctor was so far off base on this one..it’s not even funny.

  20. Moon-howler

Thanks for that first hand report, Chris. Yes, the spin doctor’s nose is growing by the minute.

I know what we saw with our own two eyes. 😉
