Thanks for this. Stewart was kind of brilliant. He’d look better if he was less excitable.
These two guys debating is actually strong stuff. Give O’Reilly credit for airing this in this format, because he knows Stewart handed him lunch on this issue. If O’Reilly was willing to lose more than win and keep doing this, these two guys are awesome together.
@Rick, I agree. I think much of Stewart’s ‘excitement’ is an act. I watch him every night he is on. That is what I base my statement on.
@Pinko
How about Bono, Dylan, Cash (not mentioned in this debate but in the original skit)? Is it ok for them to have sung about murderers?
How much do you know about the 2 that Common raps about? *I* don’t feel this way but there are people who listen to Common who feel both of those people were railroaded by the legal system.
I know for a fact that those who are able to hire expensive lawyers fare far better in trials than those using inexperienced attorneys or public defenders.
I don’t believe Common has glorified either killer. He has just represented a point of view that actually might not even be HIS point of view.
I don’t feel he is any different from the others. The only difference is the Obamas invited him.

That was pretty funny. I enjoyed it.
I didn’t know anyone could even TRAVEL to Cuba. Isn’t that like illegal over there? Doesn’t Cuba kill Americans?
Travel to Kanadia or any other country outside of the US that flies into Cuba. Or, you can make a raft. 😉
Who doesn’t like tourists with money?
White House was wrong. No comparison to the Peltier issue if you know much about it.

PaP, why is it so different from the Peltier issue?
O’Reilly had Stewart back on last night. You can see the video at http://www.billoreilly.com.
Both men are sharpening their wits on each other,, in fun.
“I can’t even see you through your pettifog”
“Fox operates a selective outrage machine that kicks into gear
only when it suits the narrative that suits them”
Jon Stewart to Bill O’Reilly
@Moon-howler
Moon…You are right it was a “battle of wits”, but it wasn’t a fair fight, O’Reilly was unarmed
