Palin says it is time to ‘Reload for America.”

She also just won’t learn from her mistakes.

From the Richmond Times Dispatch:

LYNCHBURG – During a speech at Liberty University that focused on faith and family, former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin called for the “restoration of America.”

Palin’s 90-minute speech during the Extraordinary Women Conference veered from stories about moose hunting to tea-party politics to the challenge of raising a son with Down syndrome. Her message centered on the importance of having faith in God and steering America “back on the right track.”

“Now isn’t the time to retreat – now is the time to reload with truth so we can fight for this country and reload for America,” she said to more than 10,000 Christian women who traveled from across the country to hear her speak.

The theme for the evangelical Christian women’s conference was “extraordinary hope,” and Palin said, “I’m talking about real hope, not that ‘hopey changey’ stuff.”

The visit was Palin’s first to Liberty.

Let’s hope it will be her last visit down there and to Virginia.  What does ‘reload’ for America mean?  Is this Palin defiance rearing its ugly head again?  Where will she make her next million?   I understand what men see in Palin.  I don’t see what women see in her.  She is a poor role model.  She doesn’t stay home and take care of her children and she didn’t fulfill her elected obligations.  I certainly don’t see the good Christian as nasty as she talks about everyone.  I did see her clubbing a fish in the head.  Not a good image either.

What is she going to do with that bus with the Constitution painted on the side of it?

11 Thoughts to “Palin just wont go away”

    I could care less about the “imagery” the left will wail about. My problem is it seems a bit redundant, or unoriginal. I just don’t think the metaphor fits terribly well. As far as the “outrage” goes….after “The Tea Party wants to see blacks hanging from trees” line, we on the right really don’t want to hear it anymore.

  2. “Blacks hanging from trees?” That seems extreme!

    I would be asking myself why she just continues to say stupid things. What does ‘reload for America’ even mean. Unless it fits into context, if I were Palin, I would just leave that one alone.

    It is unoriginal and redundant, amongst other things.

    Why should she leave that alone? What’s wrong with it?

    And yes, “Blacks hanging from tree” is extreme and is what some on the left have stated that the TP wants.

    So outrage over “reloading the truth” is just manufactured outrage.

    She’s a speaker and a celebrity. Why are you giving her any more attention than say…Glenn Beck?

    Her fans like her. Let them pay to go see her.

    Everyone else can turn on Dancing with the Stars.

    1. @Cargo, where have they stated that? I just have missed it or just not hung out with the left.

      I am not giving Sarah Palin more attention than Glenn Beck. I believe just last week I referred to him as an AH. Now its Sarah’s turn.

      The fact that 10,000 women would pay to see her at Liberty University is sort of ewwwwww.

      She should leave the reload remarks alone because I don’t think it is appropriate to say ‘reload on America.’ Silly me. It sounds like Al Qadda. Does she think that having gun power makes her sexy? Oh and the worst part about it is that it just makes her sound stupid.

    I don’t think you’re her intended audience. There are those that would pay to see her. There are those who would travel many miles to see her. If she had run for president, then she would have had a lot of support (not enough, but a lot). These are the people she’s addressing, not you. Now she’s running for VP. She’s not going to go away as long as she gets so much attention.

    1. When one is a public figure, once doesn’t get to chose their audience.

      I still want to know what ‘reload on America’ means. That has to be some sort of quirky code for something.

    @Moon-howler
    Reload on America doesn’t mean anything. It’s just a clever phrase like “Si Se Puede” which doesn’t mean anything unless it’s given in some sort of context. What other clever phrases do people use?

    1. I beg to differ. It isn’t clever. Why use a weapons reference?

  6. Cargosquid

    I don’t think she’s running for VP. I think she’s happy right where she is. Besides, she’s too polarizing to help someone’s campaign. The ones supporting the moderates would not like her and the conservative candidates don’t need her.

    @Moon-howler
    Because there’s nothing wrong in using a weapons reference.

  7. Wolverine

    She’s a poor role model because she doesn’t stay home and care for her children…..whooeeee, I can see some explosiveness in that one!!!! Moon, you sure you don’t want to “revise and extend ” your remarks?

  8. Wolverine

    Worse than clubbing that fish in the head, she probably cut off the head, sliced its belly open and gutted it, scaled it, and then fried and ate the thing. The scoundrel! The monster!!!

    Stop it, Moon! One Jon Stewart around here is enough!!!
