I totally agree.  Fox News needs to drop the victim card and STFU about how picked on it always is.  Enough whining.

Jon Stewart is right on!  I am thinking about putting Jon Stewart on the sacred cow list here.  What do you think?

Jon is REALLY irritating Fox news, I love it!

  2. I am getting a great amount of satisfaction out of that encounter.

Ever look at ratings numbers? Jon Stewart is a fly on an elephant’s behind. What I love is that people are tired of taking the naked hypocrisy of the left, fighting back, and that is really irritating the left.

I’m getting satisfaction out of watching folks like Chris Rock losing their minds in public, David Axelrod backing out of appearing on Maher, etc.

  5. Pokie, I don’t pay attention to ratings. It doesn’t matter to me. I know you look at them.

However, how does what you say jive with the fact that Jon Stewart is probably the most trusted name in fake news? His show is really the bellweather for the entire field of political satire. Stephen Colbert runs a close second and Dennis Miller isn’t far behind.

You can’t ignore those at the top of their game. You should probably learn to love something else because no one exposes hypocrisy better than Jon Stewart and he gouges at both the left and right, although I would say recently the right has gotten it far more because they have made heavier political contributions.

Rep. Weiner and Rep Rangle just fade to obscurty with the fall and winter side shows the Republicans have been putting on.

I don’t think the left is very irritated these days. I thnk that the right has been sending daily gifts to the Prez.

    Slow,
Not sure what your comment has to do with the success of Jon Stewart, must be a reflex deflection from the actual topic.

Jon Stewart has guests ranging from President Clinton to Grover Norquist. People want to be on his show because he has a wide educated audience they can reach. He has demonstrated a fairness lacking in real journalism. He has gone after his very good personal friend Anthony Weiner. Unlike Fox News, that “threw up in their mouths” when they even TRIED to go after Rush, Jon was able to put his personal bias aside and speak the truth. THAT is why he is unique and I am sorry you are so blinded by your ideology that you are blind to that reality.
