Comparing women to caterpillars really isn’t the way to get our vote, Reince Priebus, who is still blaming the Democrats for saying the GOP is waging a war on women. Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus denied there was a war on women. Instead he made some absurd comparison to the Democrats and the media saying there was a war on caterpillars.
He needs to look at things from our point of view. There has been a continual onslaught of restrictive laws on access to abortion and contraception. GOP legislators both federally and at the state level need to own it or stop doing it. Stop blaming others. Grow up and assume responsibility for your own actions.
He has earned it.

Well, the clip was on ObamaTV, so nobody saw it….sorry ’bout that 🙂
The whole “war on women” thing, along with the Mediscare thing are just the two things the desperate left is going to use try to win the election. And it just might work, as the bulk of the electorate seems to be very vulnerable to this sort of BS. But both methods are artificially created for a very specific purpose. They’re both completely absurd……but…..good luck with them anyway. Y’all have the right mouthpiece with Wasserman-Medusa-Hair-Schultz!!
Yeah, I just heard Wasserman-pull-the-plug-on-Terri-Schaivo-Schultz belching on MSNBC about the fictional “war on women”. Now I’m absolutely convinced this whole thing is nothing more than complete BS.
@pokie, you are an intelligent man. You know exactly what we are talking about. Stop pretending you don’t.
Why do you reference Terri Schaivo when referring to Wasserman-Schultz? I am trying to get the connection.
Again, the Terri Schaivo case had every right wing nut in the country sticking their nose into something that was clearly her husband’s business. My husband knows exactly how I feel about cases like this. He has always known. And legally the decision would be his. I expect he would involve my kids in the decision making. Most people do.
Maybe we are in a Sienfeld episode and it’s bizzarro world or something. Seriously, how many anti women bills have there been just in the state of VA? Have they forgotten their war to end planned parenthood? What about the DB Limbaugh, recongnized talking head of the right calling a graduate student a slut and not ONE R candidate had the balls to come out and categorically shame Rush for what he said. And no, it wasn’t that he just called her a slut, it was the unending context he included all the way to the “can I get a video of her using my tax dollars”.
Wow, we wimmin’ sure are some dumbass single-issue voters! I’m pretty sure we’re all so dense that we’ll forget the legions among us who are being maliciously denied contraception by white male Republicans, and we’ll find some other shiny object to distract us this summer.
Emma, I never saw you as one who would deliberately contribute to your own oppression.
I am afraid I am just a little too militant to buy into your theory about dumb asses.
It probably has to do with what is important to us. It’s very important to me that I make my own morally appropriate decisions. Too many smug Republicans want to legislate their religious beliefs and values on to me. That is unacceptable. If that makes me a single-issue voter, so be it.
Oppression…..good lord.
Of course its oppression. What would you call it? Surely not leadership?
Reince Preius’ very own Macaca moment–caterpillars
Soon we will be out in full force, building our tents everywhere. Amassing a force until we all turn in to butterflies and flutter on off to vote for Obama.
No, leadership is what we get out of te White House, right?
Sp wwhat would you call that type of behavior?

Laugh on. No whining when the prophecy is fulfilled.
We’ve been here before….where I say that I think the left is on the correct path. The last time we were here, the left had taken to calling the tea party terrorists. I thought that was the right strategy at the time, and I think this is your winning strategy this time. There is a war on women. I like it, and I think you should stick with it. Nobody will ever see through it.
What you fail to see is that women other than leftie women feel the war. It needs to stop.
Do you think that moderate women like this crap? Lots of R women don’t care for it either. More and more of them are beginning to speak out.
I suppose the winner should be the one with the most wars on someone. Let’s see: The right has a war on women. The left has a war on Christians, especially the Catholic variety. Let’s expand the list a bit and see who has declared the most “wars.” May the odds be ever in their favor.
@SlowpokeRodriguez
Victim mentality again. Sigh. That’s the reason there are 6 Catholics on the Supreme Court. They are sent there as POWs.
Apparently someone likes religious themes. There are 5 Broadway shows with a religious theme:
Jesus Christ Superstar
Book of Mormon
Leap of Faith
Sister Act and one more.
Shoot. It sounds like Broadway has brought out the big guns!!! Ready! Fire! Aim! to quote our friend George.
Sheesh, no sense of humor!
Sister Act? really? Sister Act?
