Some footage will live forever.   Faux News had a big meltdown over the Obama win.
Megyn Kelly turned to Karl Rove who denied that Ohio had been called for Obama and said those immortal words:

Is this math you do as a Republican to make yourself feel better or is this real?

Those words really do sum up what Fox News is all about.

O’Reilly’s words really will also never be forgotten.  Its really about being an old white man.

17 Thoughts to “Megyn Kelly: Is this math you do as a Republic to make yourself feel better ?”

  1. I cannot believe Megyn Kelly really asked Karl Rove that question. Awsome!!!

    It was totally hilarious, unintentionally.

What a hilarious skit by Jon Stewart.

Surprised she still works there. He does a good job on Dick Morris and minorities – inferring Morris beieved minorities were an anomaly in the last election but had since either melted or gone to where minorities go – he seemed surprised they were still here.

    1. I am too. I am surprised she isn’t out on her ear. I think she was shocked and it just popped out of her mouth.

Dick MOrris is one of the grossest people on earth.

Too bad they cut out the line where Megyn was walking to the Decision Room, and she states – “this is the way we practiced it” – even though they made it appear to be a real time decision.

  4. How did they have time to practice it?

I dont know what is wrong with both of these videos. Working on a solution. Its at their end.

how did they have time to practice – good question Moon – watch it here – http://www.idigitaltimes.com/articles/12579/20121107/megyn-kelly-fox-news-election-night-meltdown-legs-sexy.htm – video at the bottom of the page – at about the 1 min 9 sec mark, you can hear Megyn talk about loosing the communications when she reached the hallway corner – if this was so unscripted, how was someone holding a mike at the door way to had to her as she walked through the door. And, Lou Dobbs calls this magnificent journalism – 😎

    1. The numbers jumped really fast from like 240 something up to 270. Faster than you could almost talk.

    2. I cant get that idigitaltimes video to play right either. Any suggestions?

  6. @Pat.Herve

I see what you mean nw. typical faux news. That’s why I can’t believe anythign on it. This is no exception.

I sincerely hope the republican party thinks long and hard about this loss. Stop blaming everyone else, take some personal responsibility and learn how to grow. Isn’t that what you tell everyone who doesn’t buy into your belief system?

It isn’t that conservative principals need to change as the foundation of your party, it means you need to figure out how to allow new people into your party because your message speaks to a broader range of Amercans. Stop using hate as your main messaging system. Most people do fall somewhere in the middle, stop cow towing to the nutbags like Michelle Bachman et al.

    1. The Republican Party also needs to take a serious look at the Platform. It caters to all the far right and doesn’t really reflect a modern world.

I would not vote Republican as long as that platform was in place. It violates my principles.

    agree!

  9. @Elena
    Ok…so don’t vote Republican.

    What’s the big deal?

I care Cargo because I actually believe good healthy debate is the best way to come to great ideas. I want a strong republican party.

  11. But, you can’t have a strong Republican party if its nothing but Democrat-lite. You can’t have a healthy debate if those that disagree with you (not you personally) are called hate filled or racist. I get that HERE and this is a moderate liberal blog. You should see what I’m called elsewhere. And I’m not even the most extreme…just the most vocal, here.

But, like I said, if it violates your principles, I don’t want you to change a thing. I don’t want the Democrats to change a thing as long as Democrats think that way. And the GOP should not change their principles. Otherwise….they are no longer the Republican party.

I, on the other hand, now support the Democrats. I’ve joined the majority. I want to implement every Democrat, liberal, or Obama agenda item. I want the GOP to just vote “present.” Fighting the Democrats and the press just gets them blamed for everything and they still get nothing. So…let it go. If the Democrats want it…let them own it.

I am not sure that the parties have to lock in to ideology.

I also don’t know what Dem lite is. Please explain.

Most democrats I know dont follow the party line, whatever that is. I have known a few in my day but I don’t know them now. Most Democrats I know have varying opinons on the world. Very few are locked in to an absolute set of thoughts.

Cargo, I’m glad you’ve seen the light. You’re invited to the next Proletariat Meeting to decide how to divide up the private property of the running-dog capitalists and who will sit on the Death Panels.
