The north east gets slammed by another storm–this time a nor’easter.  Give it a rest, Mother Nature.

How much more can the east coast take?  Once again, the D.C. area dodged a bullet.

More election post-mortem goes on.  What advice do you have for the Republican Party?

Is the  brand  broken?  Is there a Republican message problem?

LOL. PS: Mr. Twinad said to tell you thank you very much and that he really appreciated your kind words.

    1. @Twinad, he is more than welcome. I feel badly for them, especially being so far away.

Stewart is the old guy reminiscing about that one high school football game….

This is the third election where I’ve been hopeful that the Republicans can put together a good “team”. That’s 12 years….Fox&Friends and Sarah Palin and Huckabee have got to go, Rove is over (almost a palindrome but still an anagram) and Rubio is just beginning as is Clinton. Maybe we’ll have a good choice in 2016.

Red rover red rover let Karl come over.

Tell the story of Stewart and the on high school football game. We will all sit at your feet and listen. Mistress Moon will slap anyone who talks.

    “Prince William County, Va.
    Obama 57%/Romney 42%

This Washington exurb is a 21st century mixture of government
commuters, affluent conservatives, Latino immigrants and
middle class families, making it the perfect Old Dominion bellwether.
When it swings, so does the state.”

    1. I guess I am just aa middle class family. sigh. Thanks Big dog.

Looks like Peter Candland did the right thing and is distancing himself from negative blogger(s) attempting to become influential in local politics while remaining anonymous and claiming to have inside information. Good going, Pete!

    1. I salute Mr. Candland for doing the right thing. We have a great deal to work to do in Prince William County. We need to stay policy focused.

Well, the “article” from this morning on the SoN blog (in response to Candlands inside NOVA opinion piece) has disappeared and the attacks against Nohe and Peacor are back. Maybe Candland didn’t care for the SoN rabies comment?

Now WHO would have an axe to grind with both Nohe and Peacor?

    1. Lyssa, I have a copy of that article. I left the window open on my computer and went out for 3-4 hours. Now I found it it was a hot item, I saved it. I filed it in my blog archives.

No, I will not post it here. If the Sheriff wants it down, that is his right.

Poor Papa John’s – they cannot afford to provide Healthcare Insurance to all their employees. Forcing them to spend significant time to come up with scheme’s in order to have more part time employees instead of full timer’s – all in an effort to keep about $0.10 (ten cents) per pie sold. Really – increase the price of the pie ten cents, and I will gladly pay it. For many of the small business franchisee’s, HCR will not affect them at all since many of them already employ less than 50 people, and many of those people are already part timers.

I wonder how much effort Papa John’s puts into tax avoidance schemes.

    1. I don’t like them anyway.

I sure don’t expect AHC to solve the worlds problems but its a place to start.

Great Britain’s NHS is funded mainly from gasoline tax. I doubt given this massive nation and distances we would want to be paying as much as the Brits do for their gasoline.

My friends buy the upgrade on NHS so they don’t have long waits.

Here we are – Congress coming back into session to work on important work of the day. Fiscal Cliff – no, but they will work on the Primatene Mist bill…..important work to create yet another loop hole for one company for one product and a handful of lobbyists.
