7 Thoughts to “Bernie Sanders to Hold Manassas Rally Monday 9/14/15”

First, congrats to Liberty U. for inviting Bernie to speak
at a convocation , but it is a very conservative school. Hope
he doesn’t get too beat up before he gets to Manassas.

Bern, 74, and Joe Biden, 72, are a part of a shrinking group
that are active at the highest levels of government AND
    older than me. Geezer Power!

    Close:
    Donald Trump, 69
    Hillary Clinton 67
    Jeb! Bush, 62

    FYI:

    1. Big Dog, I am so glad you have returned to us.

So….. did you get feedback on his talk yesterday?

    1. No, my daughter and granddaughter didn’t go. My husband sure got in trouble over him last night though. I haven’t talked to anyone. I heard there was a good crowd. Not sure of numbers even.

Heard an estmate of over two thousand people at the
    Manassas Rally.

Also, apparently Bern’s speech at Liberty University went well.

“If we are honest in striving to be a moral and just society, it is
imperative that we have the courage to stand with the poor.”

One of the cable stations reported 7,000. The authorities stated that the venue was constructed to hold 3,000 but there were people beyond the barricades heading up the hill. Also, people were still coming into the Fair grounds when he took the stage. Take your pick as far as a number is concerned. It was rather impressive considering that there was about a five day advanced notice. I talked to people from W. Va., Md, Richmond, and Fredricksburg.

    1. I guess I can’t visualize the venue. Still, that’s a pretty good-sized crowd this early in the game. My girls were going to go and then they got distracted.
