The John McCain Rally

I have a several problems with this. The young man was rude. He was on McCain’s turf. It was a McCain rally. He disrupted. No excuse. Then there is this thing about 2 wrongs not making a right. I saw a swing taken. I saw 2 people hauling the perp away. However, were these 2 dudes security? If yes, how am I supposed to know that? When John McCain came to PWC, our PWC police were there, in uniform, being paid overtime by us, the people of PWC. Had there been a heckler, he or she would have been taken out professionally by PWC’s finest. You and I paid for it here. John McCain needs to pay for it with his campaign funds rather than it looking like a bunch of bubbas hauled the guy away.

Elizabeth Hasselbeck agrees with the rest of The View:
\

Elizabeth Hasselbeck says targets and cross hairs on Palin’s website are dispictable. She speaks out against Palin using poor judgement and about the violence surrounding the passage of the Health Care Bill. All the women seemed to be in agreement.

Idiot thrown out of the McCain/Palin Rally

Click here to see a howling idiot. The video kept startling up with a life of its own so I took it down.
Check out the second video labeled UPDATE: Scuffle

Another protester is throw out of the McCain/Palin Rally. This guy is not playing with both oars in the water, it appears. If this guy is at the same rally, the video shows that there were uniformed officers. Whoever hauled the man away in the first video might not have been authorized. Not a smart move.

And as the grand finale: The Spitting Incident last Sunday

Unfortunately, I cannot imbed the video. Click here for the LINK. Follow the guy in the white baseball cap. You might need to watch several times. The dude is not manning up to what he did. He clearly knows what happened from his gestures.

Sean Hannity asks for proof. Well, people will see what they want to see. To me, these video show that jerks and idiots come in all political flavors.

9 Thoughts to “Hostilities of Politics: Thumbs down!”

I think it’s ironic that a guy who shows up at a Palin rally ends up getting his butt kicked by Palin supporters. From what I understand, the guy admires Palin but didn’t care for McCain.

No doubt about it, the spitting incident happened. Some say the man was intentionally provoked by the Democratic congressman. Well, as far as I am concerned, the fact that his side lost a congressional vote is no excuse for such infantile and juvenile behavior.

  2. It sure looks like the spitting incident happened. His cowardly behavior at the end of the film confirms it to me.

The first Palin boo-er was a jerk. blah!!!!!!!!!! The one who was hollering was a nut case. He got what he deserved.

Hopefully enough people were shown in a bad light so everyone is happy.

Did you people actually get into that video and see it? I tried all day yesterday and finally gave up. I went in through the link in the thread. I went in through the web and through video. I went into the Huff Post directly. In no case could I get that damned video to work, or even stay still long enough to hit the mouse. I thought it might be my equipment; but, after running umpteen successful tests on all kinds of other videos, it began to look more like something had gone haywire with the Huff Post site. Moon, is that just me or is that why you couldn’t manage to imbed the thing?

  4. I never saw where to imbed it. It didnt have the code posted. Maybe too many people were looking.

The other one I tried to put up was where someone sent into the McCain campaign to cause trouble, got hauled out, ended up on the ground and started wailing like ‘Don’t Taz me Bro’ did. It was one of those loop embeds that starts of its own accord and wont stop.

  5. That’s not “being spit on.” That is getting inadvertent saliva from someone yelling six inches from his head. Was it rude that the guy did not apologize? Yes. Was the entire crowd irate and rude? Yes. Was walking through the crowd with cameras rolling, trolling for reactions, and then lying about being called racist terms, rude? Definitely.

I’ve been spit upon. That wasn’t it. Sucks to be him. Should have watched where he was going. And Mr. White Hat needs to watch his spray.

Anybody else see where Breitbart’s bus from BigGovernment was misdirected into an egg throwing ambush at the Nevada Tea Party. They’ve already identified one thrower as a union big wig.

Finally got it to work. I’m with Cargosquid on this one. I, of course, cannot say for sure but it looked to me like an unintended shower in the midst of a shout. That scene was pretty noisy. The guy can be seen on camera having his hands cupped around his mouth to shout long before Cleaver even arrived at that location. I have seen people spit intentionally at someone. One thing I did not see on that video is the guy move his head back a bit and then forward sharply as I have seen in genuine spitting incidents, where the spitter wanted to put some serious force behind his trajectory. He just seemed to lean a bit forward as if he wanted to be sure that Cleaver got the full vocal blast in the midst of the crowd noise.

Looks to me like Cleaver was unfortunate enough to be in the trajectory of an accidental spittle shower because he got too close to the crowd. That lady cop could hardly have been any closer to the alleged incident. I am more than confident that, if that guy had really spit on Cleaver purposely, Cleaver would have reacted much more angrily and demanded that the cop take immediate action. That would legally be an assault to my way of thinking. I agree with Cargo that the guy should have apologized somehow if/when he realized that he had given Cleaver that shower. I have known a few people with spittle problems like that. They often didn’t realize it until you wiped your face and told them to quit giving you a shower with their argument.

  7. And that is why all protesters should support the economy and buy bull horns! They are also health protectors by preventing inadvertent spraying. Have I said that I love bull horns? Still don’t have one, darn it.

As condescending as this sounds … I like Hasselbeck. Not for her politics, and she’s not especially articulate. I just like a woman who’s a fighter.

I like the fact that the day before her television premiere, she was in the stands at redskins Park in terrible weather cheering for her husband who was starting at quarterback. I think the following day was her debut on “the View”.

That said, Kristin Wiig’s SNL imitation of her as hyper angry and ditzy is hilarious.
