9500Liberty will present a special screening to mark the 1st anniversary of Prince William County’s Immigration Resolution.

Thursday July 10th, 7:00 PM
Casablanca Restaurant 7911 Centreville, RD, Manassas, VA

9500Liberty is cutting together an hour-long presentation featuring recent events, many of which are too politically sensitive to share on YouTube. The screening will challenge some of the misleading rhetoric that has been circulating in recent days and weeks, and will include some surprising footage that could shift Prince William County’s political landscape for the better.

We hope to see you there! Make sure to invite your friends!

I am coming out because when someone sits here and lies and I know them to be lying they need to be called out. I am not defending Corey Stewart I’m calli8ng a liar a liar.

Lets face it, most day labors are illegal aliens and it is a felony to hire them. So spin it any way you want to.

  3. You Wish, I’ve heard it from people in the industry: the way to get a day laborer is to go to a 7/11 and hire….day laborers, not illegals. Remember the story about a fight breaking out a corner where day laborers were hanging out? The fight was between and African American man and a Hispanic man…there were groups of African Americans doing the same thing as Hispanics…looking for work! (I am not condoning the fight or the reasons for it. I’m referring to who was there at the time.) The point is…no one thought the African American men were “illegals” but some people would assume the Hispanic men ARE. Day laborers have the right to work without being discriminated against.

“Greg hates people who disagree with him and he loves guns. Enough said. My fear is justified.” Anonfornow, I totally agree. I got freaked when Mackie was talking about guns. GUNS in the wrong hands are scary.

Where’s your proof for that statement, Just Cause?

  5. QUESTION: HOW MUCH DOES COREY STEWART EARN AS CHAIR? I MEAN SALARY, PER DIEM, etc.

SAME FOR STIRRUP. HOW MUCH DID HE EARN LAST YEAR?

Anon-100, I read the info as anyone who “knowingly” hires them.

“Are you talking about the video 9500Liberty posted a while back? Or are you saying this is more recent?”

This happened on Saturday. anonfornow should have told you, since he/she is an expert on what happened Saturday, that there was a “minority” there with us. Not that it is anyones business who belongs to HSM.

Will I be able to view this new 9500 liberty on Thursday or will I be excluded?

  8. “What if they are all “white”, what does that mean? Are you suggesting that if there is a group of all “white” people they are automatically a white supremacist group?”

No, but considering their members say that Hispanics are genetically prone to be criminals, I’d say having they have supremacist leanings…of course that could all be proven bollocks by producing members of an Ethnic minority as members, or by a public oath stating that “all humans are created equal and that Hispanics are humans too.”

  9. Just Cause

Yes Anon-100 most day laborers are illegal or why else would they be loitering around looking for work..and if they are legal and loitering to get work, then its obvious they expect payment under the table thus evading taxes which is also a crime no matter how you spin it. The truth is illegal immigrants have placed a drain on the economy and there are facts to prove it. Its ugly no matter how you spin it..

As for the Corey incident, just another propaganda stunt…

  10. Since stw, couldn’t answer my previous post, I’ll throw the question out to everyone:

What is so damaging about Corey Stewart being part of the Help Save Manassas 7 Eleven operation? What prompted Maureen and Allison to out themselves, a pretty drastic action in the blogosphere, in an attempt to clear his name? Is the “Corey in a tight Red T-Shirt” imagery the first inaccurate thing you have ever seen on a blog?

My take:History has shown that extremist vigilante groups are fully discredited when…

    (1) they lose their ability to drive debate. Check.

    2) they lose their ability to impact legislation. Check.

    3) they lose their ability to impact elections. Check.

    4) members of said extremist group take drastic measures to disguise their ties to the elected officials who they hope will maintain their credibility.

    Checkmate.

    Maureen aka Anon-100,
Obviously you wouldn’t believe anything unless it comes from the horse’s mouth. There are people here claiming all kinds of lunacy, film being altered and such…

Have no fear the truth will come out.

  16. stw, you answered, yes, but now you force me to take a different line with you. “Not damaging at all” you say to an image of Corey Stewart in a Red Circle T-shirt holding hands with Gospel Greg? Why not damaging? Please explain.

(And then explain why Stewart publicly backpedals from Gospel Greg every chance he gets.)

  17. Censored bybvbl

WHWN, I’d say that it would be damaging to see a BOCS chairman with the 7-11 vigilantes because it would further PWC’s image as a yee-haw, illegal-chasing, propriety-be-damned, we’re the laughing-stock of Northern Virginia kind of folks.

  18. Just Cause

Censored bybvbl, 7. July 2008, 11:55 said Just cause, do you think most waiters and waitresses are tax evaders?

    GLAD you brought that up!

I know a hairdresser who failed to claim her tips at the end of each day and wouldnt ya know it, 4 years later, she got audited..and because she claimed no tips. The IRS estimated that she would have to pay back $4000.00 and ….BAM..I got the letter from the IRS to GARNISH her wages and if the Company failed todo so, The Company would be liable.

  19. Loudoun

WHWN – your take means nothing to me.

Chris – it is very sad that you don’t come to the defense of people who used to be your friends. After your negative posts/comments about Corey, John, the resolution, HSM, the day laborers, and Neighborhood Watch, we know which side you are on now. It was only 3 short months ago that you were in total agreement with our cause. Now you make a mockery of it. Very sad…

Just Cause, so you admit that a lot of citizens cheat on their taxes? I imagine many people who are paid in cash only claim a small portion of it.

Do you claim the money you make at yardsales or on eBay? If not, you might be a tax cheat.

  22. stw

    Loudoun, 7. July 2008, 12:03

I agree – it is very sad. And if someone had told me it would happen – I would NEVER have believed it. What happened, Chris? Why so bitter about HSM and your old friends?

  23. Chris

    Allison,
You have NO idea what side on. Because I am NOT on either side. I am on MY side. I can assure I stand strong in my opinion, and don’t need to be involved with any group. I’ve always said I was an Independent, and never claimed to be anything else. I am still working for the community. I still support those things. However, I will NOT participate in a Neighborhood Watch ran by an individual who wants to threatening me via email. I will NOT be involved with that kind of person. That’s my PERSONAL choice. I do not need to be in a group to do the right thing. Frankly, I am pretty disappointed that my daughter and mother come home to tell me they are glad I’m not in HSM anymore if they are NOW about vigilantism. I am NOT! My daughter said she’s very afraid for you ladies. That saddens me the to now end.
Why come on here and attack me. Just three weeks ago you called me asking some very sensetive personal information, and I’ve not heard from you sense. Hmmm. Please, tell me you were not doing the digging in my personal for others.

  24. Chris

    stw,
I find it very sad you won’t reveal who do are. I don’t hide behind a moniker. So, if you want to speak as if you know me. I suggest you tell me who you are. Otherwise, I will assume you don’t know me at all. I only had a handful of “friends”, and as I have seen here today. I didn’t even have those.
When’s the last time you, Allison, Maureen have spoken to me. I have a “nice” voicemail saved that was left on my voicemail. I wish I could play it for you. You might think twice about what you are saying to me.
    What say you?

  25. Chris, I’m sorry that you are now under attack as well. You are one of the most courageous people in Prince William County and I admire you greatly for not being intimidated into hiding or swallowing your views. You’re a hero to me, like Alanna and Elena. Along with your family, the community appreciates everything you are doing with neighborhood issues, and the fact that you are not afraid to tell the truth as you see it.

  26. stw

    Chris-
I’m manassascityresident. Though we weren’t extremely close, we did work together on several occasions, and I’ve always admired your dedication and commitment to and for the better of the community. I am just trying to figure out what happened that changed your feelings towards HSM, and those involved. None of my business I suppose – I am just very surprised. And if it was one person who angered you – don’t throw the baby out with the wash (or whatever that saying is)….

  27. Chris

    WHWN,
Your comments are appreciated. I will never stop being who I am and standing up for what *I* believe in. There are many that may think I only care about illegal immigration. Well, that’s simply not true. I am concerned about quality of life in my native county. I have addressed many issues, including Neighborhood Services, Public Works, The Office of Dispute Resolution, The Girls & Boys group homes, and the worst yet the Manassas Senior Day Care Program. Now, when’s the last time any of HSM have spoke out on anything other than immigration, and trashing Chief Charlie Deane?
I hope will make in the local paper tomorrow on the Senior Day Care. I am not a “single issue citizen”.

If they Cheat on their taxes or are ignorant to tax laws etc etc whatever the case is, my point is THEY GET CAUGHT IN THE END ( paper trail) but if you are illegal and get paid in cash, there is NO PAPER TRAIL thus making that person a TAX EVADER…

now stop pulling monkeys out your a** and compare the apples to apples…Geeesh

I agree 100 percent. That’s why my first post on the subject was saying that I doubted that Corey was wearing a Red Circle T-shirt and holding hands with Greg at 7 Eleven. And I said I hoped it wasn’t true. It looks like it isn’t true, but the more interesting development is that the possibility has scared the HSM crowd out of their anonymity to defend Corey from that every association.

Bottom line, if the community in general begins to feel Corey Stewart is to blame for the “yee-haw, illegal-chasing, propriety-be-damned, we’re the laughing-stock of Northern Virginia” reputation we currently enjoy, his chances of being reelected will go down the tubes. Whatever relationship there IS between the Chairman and Help Save Manassas, it should remain secret for Corey’s sake, and possibly for the county’s.

  31. Chris

    stw,
Thanks, for coming clean. I don’t feel my feelings have changed. I just don’t like the direction the group seems to be heading in. I’ve gotten nasty and threatening emails and voicemails by more than one from the group. I invite you by my house anytime to listen the the voicemail, and show you some of the emails. I am serious about this. Ask, anyone to give you my email, address, or phone number. I will be more than happy to share this with you. I have NOT changed my opinions on issues. However, I am very concerned on the way things are going these days.

  32. Chris, your latest post reminds me of an interesting dichotomy. The long-time residents of the county all seem to have our long-term best interest at heart.

Meanwhile, its the newcomers like Gospel Greg and Corey Stewart who seem most intent on driving out the illegals, and making us all look bad in the process. 10 years from now, will either one of them still be here dealing with the aftermath of the Duecaster Disaster? Somehow I doubt it.

But you, Chris, Chief Deane, and countless members of the government and police department staff, have all stepped up with courage and conviction to tell things like they are, and try to protect our good name in the eyes of the rest of the state and around the nation. Thank you.

better than visiting you in ingnorant-ville!!!! ( ok enough is enough)

Anyway, lets be adults here and agree that we disagree.

Will something happen to change my mind?? I have no idea, my opinion is solely based on personal experiences and things I have observed.

  34. Woops, Chris, when I said “your latest post” I was talking about your reply to me at 12:29 when you said you were born here in PWC and that’s why you have the courage to speak your mind despite the threats your receive. You have more at stake than most of these scary people do, but no one seems to give you credit for that. I mean, wasn’t Gospel Greg born in Canada????

  35. TH

    Chris,
I believe that we need more people like you to solve the immigration problem. People need to learn to think and figure out problems. It is not about sides but solving problems.

  36. Censored bybvbl

I agree…we disagree. I see that oodles of people besides day laborers are paid in cash. You apparently disagree with this . C’est la vie.

I think that if PWC organized a Citizens Adisory Committee it should have residents like Chris who obviously is more interested in solving her neighborhood’s problems than in garnering publicity.

  41. Chris

    K-
I believe it’s under $40k each. I do remember that they did not give themselves a raise, as I recall. I hope someone can help out here with good numbers.

  42. Loudoun

Juturna – I don’t know what you are talking about. Please give more details so I can respond (later this afternoon).

WHWN – Oh, the melodrama! I think you should work in theatre – you would do well…

WHWN & Chris – I was expressing my feelings and stating facts – I was not attacking anyone.

Chris – I was merely expressing my deep disappointment about how your feelings have changed since you left HSM and I made specific references to posts you have made that are negative about HSM, Greg, Corey, John, Neighborhood Watch, the resolution, and I forgot zoning complaints.

I did not share your personal information with anyone – you should know that. I wasn’t digging for anyone either.

I don’t know why your mother and daughter would be afraid of HSM members standing on the sidewalk at the Coverstone 7-11. I would think they would be afraid of the day laborers. I am not a vigilante – nor do I know any vigilantes. The owner of the property wants us there…

Ok we disagree…..but in all honesty don’t we ALL want the same thing in the end?? Do we NOT want the influx of illegal immigrants to stop?? We all have different views on how we get there, I care about my Community and my Nation as well and the future for my Children and their Children. You want to start an advisory group, but like this blog, you will have people who will disagree with how you get there..Are you going to slam them and make nasty remarks to them?? Or maybe since it will be a “face off” you will listen longer and provide solutions rather than criticism….

KG, I’ve written (or mentioned on the phone…forget which) to my supervisor, but maybe it’s time to email all of them.

  45. Chris

    Loudoun,

I will leave you with some words GL told me one day, and thought he was telling me an expression I’d never heard of. Well, I knew about the expression and had a great boss that preached and lived those words. “Perception is reality”. My mom and daughter have better sense than to go to place where they are not comfortable. They were going to Wal-Mart minding their own business, and surprised to see what was going on. Nice to hear the owner wants you all there.

I did feel the need to make sure I thought you called for yourself and for NO one else. I’m glad it was all for you. You could certainly give my info to stw, should she ask you for it. I don’t think you’d go giving my info willy nilly. I was giving permission to those that have the information and saw what I’d said to stw. I have no beef with you, and you should know that. I don’t like the direction HSM is headed in. IMHO.

  46. Chris, you should start your own organization and invite all the remaining HSM members to join you. That way the problem solvers could be separated from the vigilantes, and Corey Stewart could associate with one group but not the other and possibly save his career.

  47. I think an advisory board should be made up of neutral, moderate people who are concentrating not on immigration policy but neighborhood complaints and solutions. And NO–showing up at a 7/11 to intimidate people or play “cop” is NOT a solution.

  48. notGregLetiecq

    WHWN,
I am so sick you of defending Corey and trying to scheme ways to save him. Blek. Stop it. Why don’t you start an organization and get the problem solvers of all persuasions together and do some freaking work on real problems? I should say, why don’t WE start an organization and get Chris and other problem solvers to stop wasting time reading blogs and get to work. Our county has taken some serious hits. Let’s stop the fighting and work together.
    Chris,
I admire your clarity and courage. I wish Maureen and Allison would take a step back and see the bigger picture. They are blinded by their devotion to their cause.

  49. Who cares about Corey’s career? It’s the county we care about. Obvioulsy, HE does not.

  50. notGregLetiecq

Thanks, kg. I think Corey is the worst thing that’s happened to our county.
