98 Thoughts to “ChZorroa Strikes Again and Again…”

  1. hello

wow, this doesn’t do much for PWC’s reputation that so many here are worried about. While I would bet that most here find this amusing I think it’s trash and only serves to destroy PWC’s reputation even more. Way to go Alanna for yet again contributing to this bad reputation most here complain about!!

  2. IVAN

Hey, isn’t Halloween just around the corner. Better warn the kids not to take any candy from anyone looking like these guys.

  3. Censored bybvbl

Hello, that’s somewhat blaming the messenger since without Greg’s and HSM’s actions in the past year, there’d be nothing to satirize. Hasn’t Greg already swiped part of this for his site?

  4. KathyZ

Very dark. Almost too scary to look at, but the detail is incredible. Who’s the artist here?

  5. Mando

    @ hello

I’m glad you finally figured out what this blog is all about.

  6. Soy C*******

The talent here is amazing, and the creativity, for that matter. I will say that this is the most accurate representation of the spirit of this anti-bvbl movement. Deeply personal, full of hate. Y’all should enlist this artist to create comic books for remaining PWC illegals instructing them how to stay here and not get caught, and what to do when they get caught. The artist here is better than the one the Mexican government used for their comic books. Be sure to include the picture of the man decking the woman in front of the child like the Mexican comic book has!

  7. LOL! PWC’s rep is totaled already. Now bringeth in Duecaster to torch the remains.

If the BOCS doesn’t want to serve the people, then this is what happens.

    Great artwork!

Mando, you’ve outdone yourself! Tell me again who worked the fair, and work with FAIR, and spread such venom on BVBL to pass this resolution which has made our county a laughingstock. Er… are you choking on the words “Letiecq” and “Help Save Manassas”? There must have been something awful from which we were supposed to save poor Manassas. Don’t you remember what?

  9. TH

You don’t like it Mando and hello ? Poor things! i will ask the author to delete it because Mando and hello don’t like it.
I don’t know why you both keep coming if you don’t like this blog. We don’t like the other blog and we decided to stop going there. I am so tired to hear that we are not measuring up to your standards.

  10. Not full of hate….an accurate portrayal of evil in action. Too accurate.

  11. TH

Soy Cul…. Please save me the “poor taste” comments. Do you remember why you were almost banned? Just by choosing name for this blog, you showed disrespect for other human beings. Now you are the champion of decency.

  12. Slowpoke Rodriguez

    KG,

You should have this posted on the overhead when you speak at citizen’s time!!!

  13. Slowpoke Rodriguez

    TH,

    Can’t take a compliment?

  14. Mando

“Mando, you’ve outdone yourself! Don’t you remember what?”

You’re exactly right… How did you come across one of our secret decoder rings??? There’s no other way you’d know of our sinsister plot! Must report this to master… Must change decoder ring coordinates… The county and world will still be ours!!!! Muahahahah!!!!

  15. –KG,

You should have this posted on the overhead when you speak at citizen’s time!!!–

Nah. I don’t want to distract people from what I’m saying.

Maybe you can….and call it “Autobiography.” 🙂

  16. Okay, now let’s pay attention. The mood in here has gotten lighter since the posting of this cartoon. You know what that says? Art speaks in ways we cannot. I think it’s interesting.

  17. On the other comic book art thread, I posted in defense of Greg Letiecq. Here I’ll defend the artwork. Looking back at human history and the development of the arts, the most significant purpose art has served is to allow the powerless to express dissent during periods of oppression and tyranny. This work, with all its passion and sad truths, is a continuance of that tradition, and as such should not be attacked simply because it reflects a tragic chapter in the history of this county.

In this nation alone, there are countless books, plays, films, and essays that document shameful events and dark periods of our history … slavery, the extermination of Native Americans, the internment of Japanese Americans, the McCarthy Era, etc. Any of these representations could be attacked for somehow diminishing the reputation of the United States as a nation that strives to uphold the ideals on which it was founded. The song “Strange Fruit” for instance, which opened the eyes of Americans to the horrific rash of lynchings taking place in the South.

But we should not malign the satirists who offered modest proposals, nor the survivors who lived to tell their tale, simply because the truth “hurts the reputation” of a county, a king, a President, or a country. As others have stated, it is art the reflects life, and not life that reflects art.

If you are sorry for what Prince William County has turned out to be, the last place you should look is to those few people who endeavored to voice their dissent. To do so is small minded, and a deeply impoverished offering to what should be an arena of free expression and the competition of ideas.

  18. WHWN, I think it was more than a few people who dissented, though…..at least 1000 last October and more over the past year.

    Great post, however!

  19. Moon-howler

I don’t want to hear some of you black velvets playing ‘holier than thou.’ I remember many spoofs of Alanna, Elena and Katherine on the black screen. Some were much ruder than the cartoons pictured here ever thought of being.

Suck it up and get over it.

Soy, perhaps you are the biggest hypocrite of all. Still polishing that halo.

Mando is at least funny. He isn’t really offended.

  20. hello

Moon-howler, first of all I’m not a “balck velvet” and second I said nothing that would make me seem “holier than thou”. I’m pointing out the obvious hypocrisy of this site, and many of the posters here, complaining about what a bad reputation PWC has as if this site has not contributed to it in the least. Then this garbage is posted, does this in any way improve PWC’s rep?

I will be the first to admit that it’s a good drawing but come on, if you complain about PWC’s image here, then this is posted, you would have to say something about it other than: “Not full of hate….an accurate portrayal of evil in action. Too accurate.”

Yeah, put it out there that this is an accurate portrayl of PWC… nice. People outside of PWC will think highly of us then won’t they.

  21. hello

Also, the whole “well he did it to me so I can do it to him” excuse is getting pretty old? Doesn’t that fly in the face of the we are different and more civilized than them myth? It’s yet again just another example of how this site is exactly like the other one, just a different color. If your just doing what he has done to you than doesn’t that mean your just doing the same thing he is doing?

  22. Slowpoke Rodriguez

    Moon-Howler,

I dropped the Soy C…. name (no sense of humor at all here.) I would like to see these spoofs of Alanna, KG, and Elena that are ruder than this. I’ll take a peek myself, but I thought I’d ask you to point them out, since I’m guessing you have them in your bookmarks. I’m not doubting they exist, I’d just like to judge for myself.

  23. JustinT

That is incredible. I can see a feature-length animation based on the PW story.

Dime, I prefer not to give you my address. Can we find a place to meet and just talk? I just want to know that you’re a human being and not a monster.

  24. Moon-howler

Slow, nope, not in my bookmarks. Maybe someone else remembers. If I run across them though, I will take note and let you know.

The print on these cartoons is too small for me to read on my computer, so without seeing the words, I should probably watch my steps. Bad words might be used that I did not see.

Hello, I make no claims to be more civiled than the black velvets. I would say that I probably am not. I also didn’t call you by name. It was a collective statement. On the other hand, mock outrage is pretty amusing. I don’t know if yours is actual or mock.

I talked to someone else today who didn’t like it. I personally don’t care. I gave up long ago trying to elevate this issue to a discussion. That isn’t going to happen. So, might as well join the spoofers.

  25. Emma

    hello, 19. September 2008, 16:40
Also, the whole “well he did it to me so I can do it to him” excuse is getting pretty old? Doesn’t that fly in the face of the we are different and more civilized than them myth?

Gosh, hello, I can’t wait to see Robb Pearson’s take on these cartoons, and how he thinks they reflect “Oneness.”

    Robb?

  26. Emma

Never mind the bald-faced sacrilege of religious symbols and terminology that is depicted. You can offend LOTS of people here, and it’s all good for the cause, right?

I feel like I need a shower. Alanna, you make me sick.

  27. Slowpoke, to let you know, I have never cared much for those who express anti-immigrant and anti-Hispanic sentiments to do so in the choice of moniker they use. You see this on many blogs and websites, a real sign that the author has little but hate and contempt to inspire his/her thoughts, motivations, or actions.

I’m sure there is more to you than that. I don’t write this having recalled anything you’ve ever written other than the posts on this page. But in seeing the names you’ve chosen, I’ve managed to make that assessment of you. And, I thought I’d let you know those monikers make you come across.

  28. Moon-howler

Emma, you have overstayed your welcome.

I am still waiting for Chris’s apology. Now you owe Alanna one also.

  29. Moon-howler

Emma, you are one to talk. Every where you go you try to stir up trouble. Chris made a sincere gesture to include HSM in the circle study and you picked at her. A spoof is posted here. You pick at it. What are you positive about? Flirting with E-creep?

    BARF!!!

  30. hello

Moon-howler – I’m not outraged at all, I just think it’s odd people can complain one day how HSM, Greg, and what ever else has ruined PWC’s reputation but then not say something about this cartoon.

Which by the way I think is done pretty well, who ever did it is obviously talented but I just think that the content is in poor taste and not funny at all (if that was the goal, I can’t tell).

Something else that amazes me is how much time and effort some people here spend on Greg. It’s like everyone here (Elena and Alanna included) hang on his every word, repeatedly checking his site every couple of minutes and then commenting here about something said over there. It’s a waste of time, especially for a site that started based on this in the About section: “We categorically reject the tactics used by Greg Letiecq” – uh, no you don’t, I think you totally agree with his tactics and have even employed them here.

  31. Slowpoke Rodriguez

    Moon-Howler,

In THESE cartoons, there are certainly no rude words, just ideas. I’ll say it again, the creativity and artwork are top-notch. I looked through this artist’s other stuff, and it’s all quite good. I’ve been on BVBL for a long time, and I’ve seen the occasional comment, but nothing in the way of spoofs or artwork. If they were there, I’d just like to see them.

  32. boohoo

    Moon-howler, 19. September 2008, 18:07
“Emma, you have overstayed your welcome.
I am still waiting for Chris’s apology. Now you owe Alanna one also.”

Emma – Don’t worry about MH. She’s always DEMANDING apologies, yet, I don’t think I’ve ever read an apology from her – ever. She’s the “mommy” here – but I’m sure you’ve figured that out by now. She’s always reprimanding someone….naughty, naughty. Bad, bad, bad children!

  33. kgotthardt, 19. September 2008, 14:44
“If the BOCS doesn’t want to serve the people, then this is what happens.”

I’d say that the BOCS IS serving the majority of the people, kgotthardt, so which people would you be referring to…the illegal aliens, you, and perhaps a minority of the voters?

  34. Loudoun

AWC, take a bow! You are spot on @18:28!!!!

  35. hello

I agree 100% with AWCheney, just because you don’t agree with what is going on with BOCS doesn’t mean that they aren’t doing the will of the people – k.

  36. Juturna

Oh boy, this is beginning to look the THE OTHER before the banning began – and just as stupid. I think BVBL has had a whopping 9 posts today. You guys bored of sitting around and talking about anti with just each other?!!!

Looks like Greg is on one of his Saturday night rants on a Thursday evening. Guess working a real job is a bit too much for the poor boy. His kind in NE usually dropped off the job site by Wednesday……

Geez, when I get an invitation to something I don’t want to go to I throw it in the trash. He needs to get a life.

You know the picture, the evil, the look makes my mind leap to Rasputin. Think it’s a coincidence that his first name was Grigori???!!! LOL LOL

  37. Juturna

Oh my worst nightmare – Allison, Rack, Loudoun. How’s the raunchy sign in your front yard?

  38. SecondAlamo

I’m amazed that you posted these, as I remember how irate all of you got over an innocent cartoon of two stereotypical Mexicans at the border. The mind works in predictable ways. Childish wouldn’t you admit! Forget mature discussions, this site has now entered a new era of smear tactics that brings it to the level of those you so hate. Congratulations, now you’ll be the target of the other 83%.

  39. Juturna

What’s wrong SA – the smearing is from you and yours!!! I am just having a good time being nasty. As you must know, it feels good. 🙂

Some of these folks have really done some terrible things to people I care for. So, once in a while, beating them up feels really good. It will pass and then we will be benign and you can regain your stature as the sharp tounged nasty guy. xoxoxo

  40. Censored bybvbl

LOL!! An infusion of Black Velvets and feigned outrage!! Did someone sing “Red Rover, Red Rover, Send the Velvets on over!”

  41. Juturna

Think no one asked. There was nothing to do over there except talk about us.

  42. Leila

Second Alamo, you write “I remember how irate all of you got over an innocent cartoon of two stereotypical Mexicans at the border.”

That’s a rather wild overstatement. Only a few people commented that way and they were hardly irate. Others debated those comments, and some disagreed. Your memory appears to be rather unreliable. Perhaps, more accurately, you chose to remember this way to make a nonexistent point.

Or maybe you were recalling your own angst at the cartoonist’s depiction of our clueless leader.

  43. SecondAlamo

Oh come on, terrible things? Did they do anything ILLEGAL? Did they physically harm anyone? You support people who do illegal things and then use survival as an excuse. Maybe another site will start up that sticks to the subject and leaves personal attacks by the wayside. What it will take is a full time moderator with no bias either way. Say, someone from Finland?

  44. SecondAlamo

Thank goodness you didn’t include an image of Allah. We’d never here the end of that!

  45. Leila

SA, who is this “you” that you have referred to above? The artist or Alanna? And do you really mean Allah, simply the Arabic word for God?

The cartoon controversies you appear to be trying to allude to had nothing to do with depictions of God. They had to do with depictions of Mohammed, a prophet not a deity.

In any case, where exactly would the outcry have come from if the “you” had included “an image of Allah”?

  46. SecondAlamo

    Leila,

I stand corrected. It was Mohammed I was referring to. Nothing to do with Allah.

  47. Censored bybvbl

SA, Finland? Haha. Where my grandfather emigrated from? Well, you’d like the fact that a lot of Finns learned English to spite those pesky invading Russians.

  48. SecondAlamo

How ironic, a deviant artist calling someone else a deviant. By the way, would that be a compliment or an insult?

  49. SecondAlamo

I just realized something. The rest of the illegals that can’t read English will take one look at these posters and go screaming out of town. Greg wins again!
