Prince William County, we were “fired up” and “ready to go” to help change the direction of a nation!
My hope is that we are on a new course, and immigration reform will be a part of that new direction. This video was a culmination of a rally that I believe set the tone for Prince William County, for Virginia and for a nation. If you missed it, I strongly urge you to watch it, you too will get fired up to help create a new and positive direction for our country. We are ALL a part of the solution.
PWC Turned Blue!
Prince William
Obama 73,585 56%
McCaiin 57,177 44%
96% of precincts reporting
Manassas and Manassas Park followed similar patterns of turning blue.
What does this tell us?
Additionally, congratulations to a personal favorite of mine, Senator Mark Warner! Mark Warner has the ability to reach across the aisle and get things accomplished.
Huge Losses for Anti-Immigrant Crowd
It was a tough night for the anti-immigrant crowd. The Senate lost Elizabeth Dole. The Pennsylvania Mayor of Hazelton who gained national recognition for his ‘illegal-alien’ lunacy LOST his Congressional Race. And, Virginia Congressman Virgil Goode who has a propensity for calling US Citizens – ‘Anchor Babies’ at a mind boggling pace has lost his re-election bid.
Then when we look at the so called “Americans for Better Immigration” which is part of the NumbersUSA conglomerate, they were UNABLE TO SUCCESSFULLY OPPOSE ANY of the 27 Congressional and Senate candidates that they identified as being “more opposed than supportive of overall immigration reductions”.

President Elect Obama…..”YES WE CAN”
Senator McCain gave an excellent concession speech. We are thankful for his grace at what must have been a very emotional time for him. President Elect Obama gave the MOST thoughtful speech I have ever heard, bar none except Martin Luther King and the I have a Dream.
