14 Thoughts to “A Man of God? I Don’t Think So!”

  1. Master Jedi Yoda

When I heard the tazer it made my leg tingle.

Most well deserved strike by the knight.

  2. Elena

I think Rick Sanchez brings up an interesting point, if this were an Imam, in a mosque, how long do you think he would be advocating violence against the President. Imagine, just for a moment, if McCain were president? Would the right wing be on fire? My guess is a resounding yes!

  3. Moon-howler

I agree with Yoda, that tasing gave me a warm fuzzy feeling also. That guy is not a man of any God I know. He is a hate monger. What is even more disturbing is how many morons will probably listen to him.

I don’t care what party, who the president is, the rhetoric and behaviors are unacceptable. Machine gun Chris needs to be aon a very short watch list. I consider him very threatening, especially with this latest information.

  4. Starryflights

This pastor should be arrested and prosecuted for threatening the life of our democratically-elected President.

  5. Mando

If he were an Iman and McCain were president, there would be firestorm of controversy over the tazing instigated by the left and the rhetoric would be protected as free speech.

    What say you Elena?

  6. Moon-howler

Why must people be either left or right? I am very uncomfortable with having to be one or the other.

I don’t think the pastor’s religion matters. A hate monger is a hate monger.

  7. Mando

I’m giving the inverse of Elena’s argument.

  8. Slowpoke Rodriguez

Ohhhh, kind of like the white Rev. Wright!

  9. Moon-howler

I don’t think Rev. White wished death on anyone and had people sitting in church with loaded assault weapons, but he made me uncomfortable just the same. I have said so on many occassions.

You choose where you go to church. You don’t always get to choose your business acquaintances. My husband had to work with Tom Hayden. He wanted to throw him through a plate glass window. Yet, if you dug in the right places, you might see them in a company picture somewhere. Life’s funny like that.

  10. Elena

If ANY religious leader, including a rabbi, suggested that our sitting president should die, I would be horrified, no matter WHO the president was.

  11. Slowpoke Rodriguez

Well, not much has changed, really. They weren’t all “pastors” I’m sure, but I seem to recall many, many shouts of “Bush should die”. Heck, they even made a fantasy movie about his assassination! What do you suppose would happen if they made a movie (totally fictitious, mind you) of America’s first black president being assassinated while he’s still in office?

  12. Slowpoke Rodriguez

They burned Bush in effigy in Adams Morgan to celebrate Obama’s Inauguration Day! I’m sure that was just fine, what if somebody…….say…….hung a depiction of Obama? Oh, then we’d mess our britches, right? And yeah, I know, two wrongs don’t make a right.

  13. Moon-howler

Slowpoke, they already did have a black president assassinated by poison in 24. Not much was made of him being black though…President Palmer wasn’t it? It wasn’t done disresepctfully. It was just part of the plot.

I don’t care who shouts for the death of a president, it’s wrong. I think people who shout ‘kill whoever’ or burn in effigy are radicals. I don’t think I am the only one who feels this way.

I don’t wish ill on people I didn’t vote for.

  14. ISO Decency

Sometimes far left people do bad things that hurt the country. However, they do not do it in the name of God, as a rule.
