In the interest of space, PWCS Budget Timeline 2010-2011 post has been moved to a permanent page running across the top just under the banner. Hopefully contibutors will be able to access the timeline as long as needed.
Those pages under the banner offer readers access to news and political publications also.
Remember the little home in the upper left hand corner takes you back to the beginning.
Happy blogging.
I’ve just returned from the Public Hearing at Stonewall. It was pretty close to a full house. There were parents, teachers, and students that spoke this evening. There were many that expressed concerns about the IB/Cambridge testing fees. Transportation to the speciality schools being cut was a real hot topic. Then there were those that spoke for the Kindergarten aides to not be cut from the budget. The most impressive thing were the students participating in the hearing. They were very well spoken and motivated.
It was great to see so many taking an active role in our government. We must exercise our right to voice our opinion’s on such pressing issues concerning our quality of life.
Thanks lafayette. Hopefully people will look up at the page tab to keep up with the budget hearings. Is there another one this Wed?
This Wed. (tomorrow) 7 pm. Regular meeting with citizen’s time. Work session to follow.
And they are discussing the tax rate today… should be interesting!
