This is simply surreal!  Seriously, the highest law enforcement figure in the State of Virginia believes the President of the United States is not rightfully elected?  I’m sorry, can Virginia look any worse in the eyes of the country?   This bizarre conspiracy theory is simply unfathomable to me.

165 Thoughts to “OMG Virginia AG, Cuccinelli, A Closeted Birther!”

  1. Not Me, Bubba

Elena :Firedancer,Seriously, McDonnell is looking like the real moderate, interested in governing NOT based on some extreme ideology, but on a more even keel. I for one am quite please with his recent behavoir, even called his office and said “good job”.

A tiger cannot change his stripes…trust me.

  2. Captain Idiot-Face :

    Elena :
Oh, wait, I can’t recall WHAT other president has been so hounded to prove his citizenship, methinks it’s because there is none! Furthermore, I can’t agrue such lunacy. President Obama, has, on several occassion produced a legal birth certificate.

And what you fail to point out is that the reason no other President has been hounded so is because they’ve all produced their proof either without being asked or immediately upon asking. Obama (and again, we all know why) seems to have a lot to hide. Many people find the naked truth hard to argue against, so I wouldn’t get too worked up over that. I hadn’t heard that he produced a legitimate birth certificate. I don’t really care about it, and I haven’t seen it, so I don’t believe it.

Oh bullcrap. Urban legions abound. And just how would you know?

  3. PWC Taxpayer

FYI, Hawaii Health Director Dr. Chiyome Fukino issued statements last year and in October 2008 saying that she’s seen vital records that prove Obama is a natural-born American citizen. It is Obama that does not want them released — Why?

Elena :Maybe it’s easier to obsess about his birth certificate than deal with how this country was so desperate for change they elected a man with a white mom and a black dad with the name Barak Obama! Talk about leaping into diversity as a nation!

It’s working out REALLY good, ain’t it? 🙂

    Moon-howler :
Oh bullcrap. Urban legions abound. And just how would you know?

I see. Well, you’re quite correct, Urban legions of poor and downtrodden do indeed abound! I’m not sure what that has to do with anything, though. I’ll need some clarification.

Nobody, especially me, questions that Oblamo is a US Citizen. But when all other candidates just hand over their proof as a matter of course, what is he hiding? We can figure out why he hides his grades, it’s becasue as long as the school got paid, he got passing grades, but nothing to want to show the world. What’s with certificate, though?

  7. Its more about honesty and openness than about the certificate. Unless, of course, it comes out that he WASN’T a valid candidate. But the continuing questions are because Obama continues to be secret about his history. I like the idea that he’s a citizen but his father is someone else……….just sayin…..

  8. How many other presidents have been asked by people who obviously did not vote for him to show their birth certificate?

Who is he to show it to?

Where does his mother fit in to this equation? Doesn’t she count for something? We know exactly who she is and that she is an American citizen. We know her father served in WWII under Patton. I feel this entire discussion is disrespectful to his grandfather.

  9. No other presidential candidates had this problem of verifying their backgrounds. Obama’s history is so convoluted and murky that questions have arisen.

Also, just because she was a US citizen is not enough. Obama’s American citizen parent, Ann Dunham, had to have been a resident of the United States for 10 years, at least five of which were over the age of 14. Dunham did not meet that requirement (of the Nationality Act of 1940, revised June, 1952) until her 19th birthday in late November of 1961, almost four months after Obama was born. The law confers U.S. nationality on the infant of a foreign father only under certain circumstances; it would apply to “(7) a person born outside the geographical limits of the United States and its outlying possessions of parents one of whom is an alien, and the other a citizen of the United States, who prior to the birth of such person, was physically present in the United States or its outlying possessions for a period or periods totaling not less than ten years, at least five of which were after attaining the age of fourteen years.”

But, as I said above, all of this is now moot. He was certified and elected. My problem with him, among other things, is his secrecy. What is his objection to answering valid questions? Between his school records, questions about his citizenship in 1981 for travel, his birth place controversy, etc., he has not been vetted. He became a candidate because the press abrogated its responsibilities, as did every state that certified him. If just one state had push for more openness, he would have been forced to be honest with the American people.

Haha – how many of you would give a boatload of money to see Sarah Palin’s multi-college transacripts? I’ve even kick in some chump change.

  11. Actually, you would not have to spend any money since the MSM will probably dig them up and Palin won’t try to hide them.

  12. From another thread by Elena: “What do you call a person who believes the President of the United States is not rightfully seated?”

    A concerned Citizen.

  13. I don’t think Obama has had a problem verifying his background to normal people.

If a veteran’s daughter isn’t a citizen, then I simply do not know who is. I suppose maybe I am not a citizen.

  14. Personally, I believe he IS a citizen. But his actions cause suspicion. If he was born in Hawaii, just release the vault copy and be done with it.

If there is no vault copy, then state that. But, Hawaii, too, has come out with contradictory statements.

Heck, if I was nominated for President (BWHAHAHAHAHAHA…oh, did I say that out loud?), I’d release mine as a matter of course.

  15. I might even vote for you Cargo.

I just think the whole thing is silly. I get exhausted from the devisiveness in this country.
