Isn’t film footage wonderful? It captures those moments that people want to immortalize, for a day or 2.
Karl Rove capitulates. He gets dommed by the girls.

So the pretty girls fight back. Poor Karl. Back to the lunchables. Too funny. Just waiting for the pretty girls to get tapped by the National Honor Society.
Newt’s contract on America seemed fairly innocuous compared to some of this stuff.
Tell me Jon Stewart is not right on the mark.
Karl Rove really cowed on this one, I was very surprised. He asked legitimate questions of Christine O’Donnell.
Remember the old adage, be careful what you wish you? Karl Rove, well really, all the way back to Reagan, has been whipping up the religious right in order to win elections. Well, now they are gaining control over the GOP, I think that is scary.
Excellent point, Elena. He was the architect behind putting all the defense of marriage referendums on the ballot in state races in the 2004 races that got Bush re-elected. It got the religious right out to vote. And who do we think they voted for? [wink wink]
That Rove is a piece of work…but a smart piece of work.
Girl power. I love it. Let those women lead I say.
shhhh marin. don’t tell anyone. They have whips and karl likes it.
Lick the boots, Karl!!
I love this focus on Karl Rove. In my opinion, Karl is one of those strange birds who has managed over the past six or seven years to squander his political consultant legacy and alienate thousands on both sides of the political divide. He is beginning to look sort of like a political homeless person. Genealogists often dip into a website known as “The Political Graveyard”, where one can find brief biographies of individuals who were once a part of the political system at national, state, and even local levels and are now people of the past. I would guess that Karl has figuratively purchased a one-way ticket to that destination. Mark Halperin of Time gets it. Karl is still scratching his hand in puzzlement. He lost his skill at reading the tea leaves.
The Political Graveyard? Very cool. Will have to google.
Speaking of girl power… Any objection to Mr. Reid saying a fellow party member is ‘hot’?

Woverine, why would Karl Rove just vanish off the face of the earth? In the first place, he is a regular on the Repbublican channel. He was known as the king maker. When Faux News fires him, maybe he will fade to black.
Moon, he was known as “The Kingmaker” and even as “The Architect”; but Rove has blown a lot of creds lately with a lot of people on the conservative side. Exactly why he is now trying to dodge and weave on the O’Donnell thing. I would opine that he is pretty much relegated to pre-2008 history and that, in this new age of conflict between Obama/Pelosi/Reid and the Tea Party, he is just another onlooker and a minor player. He has no home in either place. I seldom see him looked to for “wisdom” anywhere on conservative blogs or conservative news outlets. Sean Hannity was his last real connection, I think; and even Hannity started looking at Rove rather quizzically after the O’Donnell comments. Sometimes things just come to an end. Time, in my opinion, for Rove to go back and write his history book of the Bush II years., if he hasn’t done so already.
