Well, jumping jackasses. Another one bites the dust. It seems that the chairman of the Virginia Beach Republican Committee has been forwarding email that is less than politically correct. It even happened before Paladino forwarded that famous picture of Trigger.
Lowell over at Blue Virginia Blog is who busted the entire situation. I can’t figure out who shot John in the whole thing because I am not a party person and don’t know all the operatives. Best I can tell, Scott Rigell( R) is the candidate who is running against Glenn Nye (D). David Bartholomew is the chairman, well, ex-chairman. He has been replaced by Ken Longo. I haven’t figured out who all the players are but I can link real well.

The Updated Update from Tuesday (aka Top Rigell Endorser Recommends Racist “Barack the Angry Negro” video)
It looks like the walls came tumbling down there for a minute. Now…the eternal question…why are people stupid?
If you are running a campaign, running for office, anything like that..why forward stupid email, tell dirty jokes, show any interest in bestiality, fool around with women, men, or anyone else. Christine O’Donnell can be forgiven. She made stupid statements long before she ran for office or was involved in a campaign. Kristall Ball, the same thing. But these people should know better. I don’t care if they are Democrat, Republican or what. Don’t be stupid.
The dog on welfare is pretty funny.
And you don’t think it is an inappropriate joke for a political party to be sending around?
More “gotcha” games. Who cares anymore?
Oh Yeah, it’s inappropriate for emailing around in a political party mail system…..won’t argue that point! I’m just saying to me, it’s kind of funny.
Oh, and to my younger co-workers, it’s absolutely inappropriate for work distribution. I don’t know what kids are learning in college these days, but nobody had to tell me not to send something like this around work. I have to tell them, though! I don’t know what these young’uns are thinking these days!
Slow, you have brought up an important point. No one had to tell me either. When your company says we can read your email in their acceptable use policy…I believed them. Now I had been there so long I didn’t have to sign anything…but….those younger ones sure did and they were still stupid. They passed around really gross jokes, racist jokes, stupid jokes. I gave them my home email and said send me the vilest joke you can think of. I don’t care but keep that stuff out of the work place.
Several learned the hard way. I think anything must go on campuses.
Stupid is clearly not limited by party.
Clearly. 🙄
Why do people continue to do career breaker things that don’t amount to a hill of beans?
Well, right! You’d think someone in a political setting would not have to be TOLD not to send this stuff via party email. Now THAT is just plain stupid.
Although, something comes to mind. I did some work for the US Senate a couple of years back, and those folks really do think they can do ANYTHING and get away with it, computer-wise.
If that is what they think then they deserve to have it bite them right in the a$$.
Moon, Forgive me, but- Holy Snake Sh3T, I couldn’t get past ” jumping jackasses” 🙂
Hi Red Dawn. This story just brought the jumping jackasses right out of me.

It’s a deadly combination, Racist and Stupid! I thought all that kind was only up here in NY, but I’m happy to share with Virginia.
But you have Paladino, Bear. Please. Don’t share.
Think of how badly we could retaliate…we could send you Cuccinelli. ARGGHH…bwaaahahaahahah [was that laugh evil enough?]
Next to Paladino, Cuccinelli is an upstanding citizen!
Oh Dear God, Bear. You can have him. Send your thug down here. We will sic watermen on him.
