If you are planning to be out of town or have a long day planned at work on Tuesday, it is possible to go in today or tomorrow to the Voter Registration Office and cast your ballot.  The office is open on Friday until 5 pm.  It is also open on Saturday from 9 – 5 pm.

The only hitch is you have to give your reason and tell where you will be, which is no big deal  I was allowed to list the state where I would be.  It is certainly important to vote and the early voting plan allows this to happen.  You will NOT be able to vote on Monday.

8 Thoughts to “Early Voting: Last Chance is Saturday October 30”

  1. Remember…..Voter Early and Vote Often!

  2. Cargo must be a closeted democrat. Sorry…couldn’t resist.

I figure I’ll vote Republican (for non-RINOs) as long as I’m alive as I’m sure after my death I’ll be voting Democrat.

    =)

    Check and mate!

  4. Marin, what do you not like about RINOs? That definition keeps changing. A couple of years ago it meant one thing, now it means another. I just can’t keep up with it.

I might like RINOS, although thats a derrogatory name.

This is very helpful. Thanks for posting the procedure for early voting — Tuesday looks to be very busy for me.

    1. @Kelly, Glad to be of help. I was very surprised they were open on Saturday.

  6. @Moon-howler
YOU said it, not me! I never mentioned a party…….

I only found out a week before I was going to be gone for 3 weeks, including Election Day, that I was going to be out of town. I guess I could have voted early or gotten an absentee ballot – especially if I could have done it on a Saturday. Oh well, I was pretty busy doing lots of running around before leaving town, so will miss out on voting this time around. Such is life. If I had more notice I would have gotten an absentee ballot at least. I’ve been gone since 10/17 and right now am coming back home this Saturday but that could change – I may have to stay a few more days or another week.
