If this story is true, then he really was stupid beyond anything imaginable. And it serves him right for thinking his was special. I wonder if there is DNA testing. Why was she fired?
Maria should send him packing and leave him gone. I always thought she was slumming anyway.

Many still don’t want to admit that Gore was and is a nut job con man. Clinton knew that when he picked him. If the successor to the office is scarier than the current one, the current holder is safe.
Clinton – Gore. The Senate is familiar with Gore and so, did not vote for conviction.
Bush – Cheney Cheney gives the left nightmares. Hehehehehehe 😈
Obama – Biden Biden is honest but dumb. Proof – Net worth during the campaign was listed as less than $200K. Really. However, a Biden presidency may not be worse…..at least HE isn’t interested in “fundamentally transforming” the US.
From insidenova.com:
Unfortunately, the rest of the staffs’ raise (which they haven’t had in 3 years) won’t begin until July 1. How strange. Shouldn’t raises all start at the same time?

Interesting that being the PWC County Executive is more financially rewarding than being the Secretary of Defense or the Director of the CIA. The top end of the federal senior executive service payscale is $199,700. It must be the level of responsibility that warrants the extra $$$$
Don’t look now but the ‘most transparent administration EVER!’ is not allowing the Boston Herald ‘access to President Obama’s Boston fund-raiser today’ BECAUSE…. wait for it… and I quote:
object to the newspaper’s front page placement of a Mitt Romney op-ed, saying pool reporters are chosen based on whether they cover the news “fairly.”
Can we all agree on something finally? Can we all agree that this administration is not only NOT the ‘most transparent administration in history’ but NOT transparent at all?

Just chalk this up to one more LIE by Obama… makes me think I should change my avatar back to what it use to be.
Just FYI… on the link I included there is a poll where you can vote for one of three options, here they are include the latest numbers on the options (with 11,191 votes so far):
Question:
Is it legitimate for the White House to consider a paper’s coverage in granting access?
Options:
1.) 3% – Yes. Why should the president reward negative coverage?
2.) 95% – No. If you can’t stand the heat, get out of the kitchen.
3.) 1% – Not sure. Each case is different.
Where do you stand?
THANK GOD!!! MD state union workers can get boners again thanks to tax payers! No longer will they suffer from limpness and have to actually (eeeeks!) pay for their own Viagra to get it up. Whew, I feel so much better now for them (sorry, just threw up a bit in my mouth) and their families.
Chalk this up to a win for government unions and solidarity! So when will Obama issue a press release announcing he ‘excitement’ for this new union win over tax payers?
“Walt Bader, chief negotiator for the Fraternal Order of Police union, said he didn’t appreciate the extra scrutiny on Viagra for his officers.”

@Dan,
I don’t see why erectile dysfunction should be treated any differently than any other medical condition. Tell me, are you opposed to treatment for erectile dysfunction? That’s just one of those conditions I wouldn’t be vengeful about. Bad Karma and all that.
I understand it is hitting men earlier and earlier. Who knows when you might need your health care program to cover something similar for you.
Maybe it is because it has to do with sexual issues that some people think this is a topic to act silly over. No, the tax payer isn’t paying for erections any more than he/she is paying for curing strep throat or keeping someone from having a heart attack. Health care is an employment benefit.
Who knows, perhaps you are paying for some poor PWC employee to fix his erectile dysfunction. You and that wino hanging out down the street. Remember, winos are just as much a taxpayer as you are.
Gingrich owes half a million large to Tiffany’s: http://market-ticker.org/akcs-www?singlepost=2553610
@Cato the Elder
Is Gingrich still running? I thought he was a democrat? At least Mr. Ryan thought so. 😉
“I don’t see why erectile dysfunction should be treated any differently than any other medical condition.”@Moon-howler
Agree with Moon on this one. Men who undergo treatment for prostate cancer suffer terribly as it is, and ED just compounds the suffering. Denying them normal sexual function after recovery is a slap in the face. I think most men would prefer it happen naturally, but if it’s broke, why not fix it, rather than sentence the poor guy to a lifetime of depression meds that will just make the problem worse?
Gingrich hit a high point with his statement that “any ad which quotes what I said on Sunday is a falsehood.” So, if you use his exact words verbatim in the exact context in which they were uttered then you are perpetuating a lie. That’s a gem (speaking of Tiffany’s). A close second is his communications chief blaming the uproar on the elite beltway cocktail party circuit (Limbaugh issued a denial this afternoon that he’s part of the elite beltway party crowd). Third is Newt blaming it on David Gregory for hitting him with a “gotcha” question. Who could have anticipated something as obscure as a Medicare reform question? With both Huck and the Huckster joining the quitter list, and with Newt in flames and running out of altitude and airspeed quickly, comedians have to be hoping Palin or Bachmann jump in soon.
@Emma, and then there is just the normal aging process that kicks in at about 45-50. I am surprised the men haven’t kicked in on this issue in outrage.
And speaking of erectile dysfunction…when I was a kid, bra commercials were only on during the day when the ladies were home watching the soap operas. You would have never seen a feminine product ad on TV, much less anything having to do with contraception. Now there are no taboos on anything it seems. I hate watching all this stuff including fixes for erectile dysfunction with my gkids. they don’t seem to notice.
Of course all kids shows have every bodily function known to man being discussed anywhere/any time.
FYI:
Full page Allstate ad in today’s WaPo notes that May 20th (tomorrow) has
been, for the last five years, the most deadly day of the year for teenage drivers
and their passengers.
@Big Dog,
Is that because of graduation or prom?
Imagine both.
Heads up parents – give the safety talk one more time.
So I get a mailer today from the “Dick Black for Senate” campaign. Oh, Dear. I’d love to be a fly on the wall in the Dick Black campaign headquarters. “He polls really high with white women, but really poor with white men! We can’t figure it out!”
Agreed 100%…..that was pretty bad. Poor Newt…he can’t catch a break.
@Slowpoke Rodriguez
Sure he can. He just has to stop trying to be the “smartest man in the room” and pick a position and stay with it. He keeps wanting to have things both ways. He over thinks every thing.
Anyone know what time the Rapture is supposed to happen on Saturday? I’ve already been in one car wreck this month. The last thing I need is to get hit by an unmanned car.

Harold Camping said it will be around 6:00 pm on May 21st and it will begin with an earthquake that lasts for 5 months. He didn’t say 6:00 pm in which time zone, but since he’s in California I assume he’s basing it on PST, so around 9:00 pm Saturday night here on the east coast. I don’t think he’s right, but I’m going to wait until Sunday to mow the grass to be sure it’s necessary.
Watch out for the URV’s–unmanned rapture vehicles!
Does this mean that cars will be swirling all over the place tomorrow?
I caved and put up a Rapture thread for all you ‘Rapture Conspiracy theorists.’
We’ve retreated to our secret bunker here in Ohio. It’s odd driving by so many car factories that aren’t running at full strength. Not used to seeing so few cars in the factory parking lots.
For your morning laugh.

With their guns drawn, police surrounded a man who reportedly was trying to get through security at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport with a bomb in a carry-on bag.
It was a drill, but the trouble was no one had told the cops, who thought it was real.
Now what I like about this is that the cops (state/county/local) pulled their guns on the federales (TSA). As it should be. 😉

I’m pro-life and find it a contradiction by many on the far right that they can be
“for life” yet also support the drastic cutting of America’s safety net for young children
as a part of reducing budgets – while cheering tax breaks for the ultra-wealthy
as an article of faith.
It has been said that conservatives only care about children before they are born
and liberals only afterwards. To be honest, we must do both.
(Remember 9K is only for the birth – recent estimates are it takes close to 200K to
support a child until HS graduation)
So, what’s everybody’s opinion on President Obama’s endorsement of the HAMAS supported idea that Israel should withdraw to the pre-1967 borders and on the president’s belief that the PLO and HAMAS can be counted upon to cease terror activities if Israel does so?
Here’s mine: http://unitedconservatives.blogspot.com/2011/05/obama-supports-hamas-on-israeli-borders.html
It was too long to post here.
Cargo, stop it. Bush and Clinton both also referred to the pre-1967 borders. Obama doesn’t stand alone with those borders.
Stirring that all up solves nothing.
@Big Dog
I think all of us are ‘pro-life.’ However, to some of us, that doesn’t exclude women making their own morally responsible decisions.
Big Dog, I agree. Everyone has to walk the walk if they are going to talk the talk.
Looks like “sell in May and go away” was good stock market advice which,
of course, I didn’t take. But after the Rapture tomorrow,
my heathen relatives will have to manage it. (Assume we Raptured ones will
be declared legally dead on earth and, I am informed, we cann’t
take “it” with us.)
Sigh…me either, Big Dog. Of course if you think of your investments as long term….(insert your own platitude)
If I were the Israeli PM, and the US brought up withdrawel to pre-1967 borders, I’d tell them the Israel will withdraw to the pre-1967 borders, when the US withdraws to its pre-1846 borders. Afterall, Israel took that territory away from Egypt, Jordan & Syria, after these three countries attacked Israel. An unprovoked attack I might add.
In contrast, the US attacked Mexico, after Mexico attacked Texas. Texas, which had been part of Mexico, declared independence. The US used this pretext to invade and defeat Mexico. In the treaty of Guadalupe-Hidalgo, Texas got it’s independence (and later, statehood), and the US got the Southwest and California. Pretty sweet deal for the US, considering Mexico was only trying to hang on to Texas, and hadn’t attacked the US.
So, Israel should give up it’s security, because the US thinks it would be good for the peace process? OK US, give CA, AZ, NV, NM, CO, back. Grant Texas it’s independence (which they might like). Then we can go to Israel and ask them to withdraw.
Last I checked, things aren’t all that stable in Syria and Egypt. I don’t think Jordan would want the palestinians back either.
Actually, Bush did mention the 1967 borders. However, that was before HAMAS came to power. He did not make the withdrawal as a conditions of the negotiations. He mentioned them as an award for all of Israel’s enemies to renounce violence and acknowledge Israel’s right to exist. They rejected that.
Furthermore, Clinton’s 2000 agreement did not have Israel return to the pre-1967 borders. They retained some of the West Bank, albeit a small part. Arafat walked away from the offer, getting 94% of everything, without even countering.
Obama is making the 67 borders the STARTING POINT. Again, he did this without demanding ANY concessions from the terrorists.
Personally, I think that Israel should give the land back to Jordan and if they don’t want it, annex the West Bank and if the residents refuse to be peaceful, kick them out or arrest them. Or shoot the violent ones. The Palestinians have a cult of death and murder.
And Obama is again refusing to see the world as is.
I am glad that you aren’t brokering a peace. Cargo, you see the world as you see it and determine that is how it is.
I don’t see the Palestine problem as binary. I am not sure saying that ‘the Palestinians have a cult of death and murder is not a very prejudicial thing to say. Some do. Many don’t. Many just want to live in peace. Would you be comfortable saying the same thing about the Irish?
Stevem yes, Israel was attacked. However, you left out a critical element in this entire discussion. Who did the land belong to in say, 1945?
That issue cannot be avoid, yet it often is. I have a friend whose mother was a Christian from Jerusalem. She lost her home and her bank account in the ordeal. Thinking about those people brings an entire different picture into play that I sure didn’t learn about in my school house history books.
Yes, it was a long time ago. There are no easy answers. Israel must consider its defense first. However, when Israel starts paying our bills, then they can start telling us what to do.
Perhaps pre 1967 borders is a starting place. Other presidents have certainly discussed them. Again, Clinton and Bush come to mind. I don’t necessarily think that the Israelis should give back that land. I think they need to keep their settlements out of land that has been designated for the Palestinians.
@Moon-howler
The Irish? No. They don’t believe that being a suicide bomber is a valid calling. When parents HOPE that their kids, their children, their future, become suicide bombers, and those parents and children are celebrated; when cookies are handed out, when parties break out because Jewish babies are murdered; When they dance in the street to celebrate terrorist acts, including 9-11; when those in authority pray to God for and advocate the mass killing of an entire nation….THAT’S when I state that those people have become a cult of death.
As Golda Meir stated, “Peace will come when the Arabs will love their children more than they hate us.”
There may be some peace loving Palestinians. Let them take power. Then negotiations can begin. Let those peace loving Muslims actually fight against the terrorists, arrest or kill them, prevent their taking of power, shun them and their philosophies, and denounce any that associate with them….then there will be peace in the Middle East.
Cargo, I’m not too worried about this one. Israel has already communicated in the best diplomatic language they could ‘pound sand America’.
I think this is how we do global outreach now. We urinate on our allies.
It’s called trickle down diplomacy! 😉
@marin, Geez. How have we urinated on our allies? Please be specific. For starters, I don’t think that giving a country $3 billion dollars a year is urinating on them. Do you think that George Bush, Condoleezza Rice and Bill Clinton didn’t have conditions? Being a friend to Israel and is not synomymous with having no expectations.
Israel has to consider its own safety and defense first. After that, the discussions can take place.
Cargo, the point is, that some Irish, the terrorism wing of the IRA for example, do/did evil things. There are some Palestians who are part of the terrorist wing of Hamas or other organizations who do evil things like blowing up people.
The problem is when we start using words that imply ALL.
Its the broadbrushing that I find deplorable. I think it is far better to fight evil through calling out those who do it rather than damn nations.
Why not just condemn all Germans? All Japanese? ALL is a very dangerous word. I very much grew up in a world where Germans and Japanese has been alive during the time war atrocities took place. We as a nation didn’t employ the concept of ALL when we rebuilt those nations with who we had been at war.
Arizona (Pima County) Sheriff Clarence Dupnik is back in the news again.

A Tucson, Ariz., SWAT team defends shooting an Iraq War veteran 60 times during a drug raid, although it declines to say whether it found any drugs in the house and has had to retract its claim that the veteran shot first.
MH, no real reason to be specific on my opinion as Israel has already told us to go fly a kite.
Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu suggested Friday that President Obama holds an unrealistic view of how to achieve peace in the Middle East, saying that Israel would never pull back to the boundaries that the American president said a day earlier must be the basis for negotiations.
The unusual Oval Office exchange, following a nearly two-hour meeting, laid bare the fundamental differences between Obama and the hawkish leader of the chief American ally in the Middle East.
http://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/in-meeting-with-obama-netanyahu-rules-out-israeli-withdrawal-to-1967-borders/2011/05/20/AFSWQx7G_story.html
@marin,
You are dismissing the other presidents who also started at the pre-1967 borders. Do you think that other American presidents haven’t met with resistance. Let’s talk about who holds the ultimate trump card.
As long as we’re dictating Israeli borders, I suppose we should start thinking about giving Texas back to Mexico.
MH, I think Isreal was very supportive of the 2004 letter that got bipartisan House and Senate support.
“In light of new realities on the ground, including already existing major Israeli populations centers, it is unrealistic to expect that the outcome of final status negotiations will be a full and complete return to the armistice lines of 1949, and all previous efforts to negotiate a two-state solution have reached the same conclusion. It is realistic to expect that any final status agreement will only be achieved on the basis of mutually agreed changes that reflect these realities.”
I think Israel is right to look at us and think we’re clueless if we’re backtracking on that.
http://georgewbush-whitehouse.archives.gov/news/releases/2004/04/20040414-3.html
I think Dubya had it right.
We also should probably sell the Israeli’s a few more high tech weapon platforms and then tell them that our birds in space won’t be working for a week or so.. If Palastine happens to go off the grid during that time. Oh well.
@marinm
If Israel believes we should pound sand or go fly a kite then they should put us in our place by refusing to take any more U.S. aid. They have been the biggest recipient of U.S. aid since they became a nation in 1948 and they currently get about $3B a year, which averages out to every man, woman and child in Israel getting $400 a year from the U.S. taxpayers. They have an unemployment rate of 6% and home prices have gained 20% per year the past two years, numbers we won’t see anytime soon.
Why give up sucking on the American teet? What do they gain by not taking the money? We obviously don’t have conditions on the money.. Even if we did – we ignore them for other countries :cough: Pakistan
So, why not take the free money?
Wouldn’t you?
Everyone did what they had to do. Now the lines are drawn, they can start working on things.

@Moon-howler
Actually we did use “all” when we thought about Germans and Japanese. That’s why we fundamentally transformed each nation’s culture during our respective occupations of their countries.
There are peaceful Palestinians and peaceful Muslims. But the CULTURE is not peaceful. The peaceful ones are the odd ones out.
