CONGRATULATIONS! THANK GOD EVERYONE IS FINE!
WOOHOO! CIGARS ON MARIN!
Congrats Marim!!!
Congratulations!
Oh, oh! Double trouble!!! 🙂
Congratulations!
Thanks for sharing the good news, MH! Congratulations to Mom & Pop MarinM, and best wishes to the little ones.
Congrats, Marin!! I’ve seen the pictures, and your babies are BEAUTIFUL!! I hope everyone is done well.
^DOING well.
Do they look like their mother?
What time were they born?
Another good reason for another get-together!
Congrats, Mr. and Mrs. Marin!!!!!!
Congratulations. And remember, sleep is overrated.
Awesome!
Thank you all for the well wishes and congratulations.
They’ll probably stay a week in the NICU but they are strong and doing well. We just got back from feeding them for the first time and Mia took to the bottle quickly. It’s interesting to see how different both are already.
We’ve made friends with a couple who have a son in the NICU for the last two weeks and he’s gotten to 3.5 lbs. They’ve been told that in 10 days they’ll be finally able to take him home.
I’ve posted pictures of Enrique (all the nurses and staff call him Enrique Iglesias..after my stunning good lucks of course) and Mia on Facebook. They are precious.
The staff here have been wonderful. We’ve spent a little over 3 weeks here and Angela has made a few friends. The catholic church has also visited a number of times to make sure that we’re ok.
We keep telling ourselves. “Oh the places we will go”. Our adventure has started. 🙂
MH, if you have the capability you may feel free to post the two pictures I sent you.
Thank you. I wouldn’t do it without your permission.
Marinm,
Wonderful happy news! And so the cycle of life continues. Now the real adventure begins 🙂 One day at a time, sometimes, its even one minute at a time!
@marinm
When can the Mrs. go home? I’m so glad you are having a wonderful experience at the PWH Birthing Center. I know they were very good to me 17 yrs ago when I had my daughter. Do they still give the new parents a “fancy” dinner the night before discharging?
I’m so glad all are well. I love babies!! They are too cute for words. Enjoy!
Congratulations Marinm!
awwwwwwww, so sweet!
Absolutely beautiful! What a treat that you shared those pictures, Marin!
I guess we are going to be known as the baby blog from here on out!
Congratulations, Mr. And Mrs. Marin! Your babies are gorgeous.
Congrats Marin, great looking babies! The only bits of advise I can offer as a semi-new father (son is 2 now) is sleep when ever you get a chance. If it’s 5 minutes, 10 minutes, sleep is sleep and your going to need every minute you can get.
And, no matter how tired you are, try to do anything and everything the wife asks of you. Trust me, a happy Mommy makes a happy family. An unhappy, exhausted Mommy makes hell look like it may be a place you wouldn’t mind going to. So, do everything you can to make her as comfortable as possible. It will make your life that much easier, trust me.
Mia and Enrique have been moved from their isolettes to a regular style plastic crib. They both have feeding tubes to help them grow big and strong but no longer need their IV’s!! 🙂
We’re crossing our fingers hoping to have them discharged by Thursday/Friday if they can gain weight.
They’ve also graduated into being able to wear onesie’s.
Angela should be discharged tomorrow. She has a complication but we’re hoping time will overcome it.
Beautiful babies – straight from the angels….. Congratulations to all!
The other place kicks in in the middle of the night…where angels don’t live.
Sounds like good progress for those two. Good Luck and Good Health to both of them (and you and the Misses too!)
