Subject: Unprofessional and Inappropriate Sophomoric Behavior from Wasserman-Schultz

Look, Debbie, I understand that after I departed the House floor you directed your floor speech comments directly towards me. Let me make myself perfectly clear, you want a personal fight, I am happy to oblige. You are the most vile, unprofessional ,and despicable member of the US House of Representatives. If you have something to say to me, stop being a coward and say it to my face, otherwise, shut the heck up. Focus on your own congressional district!

I am bringing your actions today to our Majority Leader and Majority Whip and from this time forward, understand that I shall defend myself forthright against your heinous characterless behavior……which dates back to the disgusting protest you ordered at my campaign hqs, October 2010 in Deerfield Beach.

You have proven repeatedly that you are not a Lady, therefore, shall not be afforded due respect from me!

Steadfast and Loyal

Congressman Allen B West (R-FL

The she and he are Debbie Wasserman-Schultz, on the floor of the House and Allen West.  West seems to have gone way over the top.  He moved from a disagreement over policy to a very personal attack which included words like ‘vile,’ ‘unprofessional,’ and ‘despicable.’  It sounds to me like West is no gentleman.

69 Thoughts to “Florida Dust-up? She said, He said”

    @Moon-howler
I say “heck” all the time. What’s wrong with that?

I’m not sure what you want Are you looking for an example where a Democrat politician badmouthed the President?

You do remember the 8 years of Bush Derangement Syndrome, right?

Have I heard how the candidates talk about the President? Not really. Too soon in the election season to watch them.

Besides, I can’t imagine that its any harder than what I’ve said here. I believe that the President is an unqualified, corrupt, lying, hack that would rather watch America collapse than change his political philosophy. That the President is a progressive that believes completely in the Progressive ideals, based on Fabian Socialism. That he is willing to put into place agencies and structure that would “fundamentally transform” America. I believe that his policies and those of his associates are placing the nation in grave danger. From his illegal war in Libya, to his inept handling of traditional allies, from his support of dictators to his corrupt crony capitalism, from his his incompetent energy policies to his lying to the American public….. he is a danger to this nation.

And the press is blindly following him. If the “Gun Walker” Scandal had erupted under Bush, it would be on 24/7. His corrupt Justice Dept is responsible for the deaths of hundreds of Mexicans and some American agents. In addition to that, the State Dept, apparently, might have sold weapons to the ZETAS.

How’s that? Blunt enough? I would vote for a candidate that had the guts to state that and then start pointing it out.

    1. I just heard Huckabee over the weekend call Obama a rider of a stick horse in the Kentucky Derby. I am surprised your TV doesn’t broadcast stuff like that. It must be the DC area.

ZETAS? Is that a frat house?

You would vote for anything or anyone who would take Obama down. You have made that pretty clear since he came into office–maybe even before. The attitude of the tea party has transformed me from a neutral by-stander to a staunch defender. I know the America I don’t want to see and if he fights that, good enough for me.

I just don’t think the tea party has honest intentions. I see many wolves in sheeps clothing. Of course, I have been around a long time and I used to know a lot of these wolves. Even if I don’t know them, I know wolf talk when I hear it.

That is your opinion. We should each just save our breath. I think you are dead wrong. Did you say the same thing about Bill Clinton?

It seems fairly clear that the Debbie Wasserman Schultz (DBS) is going after Allen West. But why would the busy chair of the DNC make time to go after this brand-new congressman unless it was part of a strategy?

Here is my amateur analysis. The Dems have practically “owned” the minority vote for generations, but a popular, conservative, minority Congressman such as Allen West could gravely threaten that ownership in Florida. From the Dems’ point of view, Allen West has to be neutralized to prevent him from swaying minority Florida voters in the 2012 presidential election. Obama won Florida in 2008 by only 2.8% with an unprecedented minority turnout. If West can swing a percentage of minority voters to the Republican nominee and/or more of them choose not to vote, then Obama could easily lose Florida.

Given his strategic importance, it seems virtually certain that the Dems will continue to attack Allen West. Rather than taking DWS’s bait, West needs to come up with a strategy of his own to counter those attacks and perhaps to counterattack. Even though I agree that DWS had it coming, West needs to develop a more subtle and effective response to the future attacks that are sure to come.
