Rupert Murdoch interrupted, was humbled, had someone attempt to throw a pie in his face and got saved by his 42 year old wife. Murdoch is 80. Apparently he slept through some of the hearings. I don’t blame him. So did I.
Jon Stewart was all over this one. Amazingly enough, he picked up on the same things I did. This has to be one of his funniest:
And let us not leave the Faux Friends and their ‘pile on’ out of the story:
Common reading at the White House? Now THAT was a pile on. No one knows pile ons like the Faux Friends.
The real scandal is how that comedian go into the chamber in the first place.
Guns and knives are easier to smuggle. Someone knew and let him through security.
You mean the pie throwing comedian? Probably half of the Parliament is in the pocket of someone. I am not so sure things are all that different here.
Check out the Stewart interview with former Pakistani president Pervez Musharraf. It is actually an excellent interview and Stewart asks questions that probably Hillary Clinton wishes she could ask. Stewart is brutally blunt without rudeness.

Woof! That gal not only chopped the pie guy and spread the shaving cream all over HIS shirt but had to climb over somebody else to get to him. I believe she was once on the Chinese women’s volleyball team. I can imagine being on the receiving end of one of her spikes!
And it does look like Rupert nodded off for a moment during the session. I think that might be somewhat of a tradition in Parliament — except at Question Time.
@Wolverine, it didn’t help that it looked like bottles of vodka in front of both of them.
Yes, Wendy packed quite a punch. I was watching it live when it happened and I replayed it several times. I couldn’t tell what had happened.
That’s love when a woman presses the attack against someone going for her man. Good on her.
That woman can pack a punch. That poor fool didn’t know what hit him.
Crouching Wendi hidden Tigress
@Dan too funny. Kudos to you for making me laugh. Wendy is quick. Did you see Jon Stewart’s capture of her glare?
“Is it over? Do we own parliment yet?”
CLASSIC!
That poor man. The govt is just picking on him.
@marin, I thought that was hilarious!!!
