What’s wrong with this picture?  Plenty, actually.  The signs say:  Jury Parking-Towing Enforced.

The new reserved spots are in the public parking lot where 28 splits at the courthouse and rescue squad.  There is very little parking left for the public with this expanded jury space.  However, do you think the owner of that truck is really on a  jury?    I bet not.

Perhaps Prince William needs to adopt a policy similar to Arlington– After 11am the spots become public parking. No juries are starting up after that time.  However, I am not so sure the sheriff’s political truck constitutes being ‘the public.’

While we are discussing the court house, how does one order up the golf cart if they have mobility issues?  I see it out there but if Ihad to park on the south 40 and had, say, a broken foot, how would I get a ride?  It looks nice but is the concept utilized by the handicapped?

    Excellent question regarding those jazzy carts. I’ve yet to see an injured person being transported on them. If the arrangement/request for the cart is on the website, it’s very well hidden.

    It’s probably not a good idea to enrage the jurors who have to circle the lot looking for the rare space. It might be wiser to have your opponent’s truck parked there.

    The whole Sheriff’s Office lacks leadership and this doesn’t surprise me.

    All the more reason to boot the lazy, incompetent out of his comfy zone and vote for Messier who will work his butt off for PWC!

    Parking lot is open after 10am during the week, and all day Fridays (when this picture was taken). I notice that all my comments on FB get deleted – hummmm, how honrst is that?

    Mr/Ms Teapartier – XXXXXXX (name detacted) is a liar about simple things, lord knows what he would lie about if he had a real job

    I see censorship is yet another quality our wanna-be has… notice he / she have extracted my comments on FB as well – seeing some serious red flags about this dude and his posse

    1. Michael, I have redacted the name from your comments. I don’t allow personal attacks on this blog. I don’t know anything about your facebook pages. Note, we do censor things we feel are not in the best interest of the blog.

      I have been told that the signs at the courthouse do not mention times and Friday being open for parking. Some of our users are often at the courthouse. They were not real pleased to see those spots taken up by employees.

    Thank-you for your response. According to the flashing sign, those spots are available when there are no jurys – This attack was/is just another falsehood from a candidate who has been repeatedly ingenuous. I dislike campaigns that are negative, and I believe that most inteligent voters can see through these fallicies. Thank-you again for your responce

    1. Michael, I do not believe that person you mentioned had anything to do with this, at least to my knowledge. I got the information from a person who has been very angry about the lack of parking at the courthouse complex.

    @Michael Andrew
    C’mon, Mike! Those signs are NOT turned on every day. And if they were, they’d be as effective with parking as they are with NO camera cell phones messages. Useless, and you know it.
