George Zimmerman, who shot and killed Trayvon Martin in Sanford, Florida, has been arrested and charged with 2nd degree murder.  Hopefully, everyone will get their day in court.  In addition to George Zimmerman being tried, the Florida law nick-named “Stand Your Ground” will undergo scrutiny.

The first team of Zimmerman lawyers is off the case now.  They removed themselves.

Zimmerman turned himself in and is now in custody.

I hope he can get a fair trial.

now let the wheels of justice turn.

  2. Had this case not festered, he would stand a better chance at a fair trial. I am not so sure now.

It is important that he’s given a fair trial. But we also need to look at how “Stand Your Ground” laws deprive a victim of some yahoo scaredy pants with a gun the same right. In fact Mr. or Ms Chicken#$@& gets to be jury and executioner.

    Absolutely.

As I watched tonight, I don’t see how there is a good outcome for the Martins or the Zimmerman man. Nothing will bring back Trayvon. I don’t think Zimmerman is a cold blooded killer. I think he made a horrible mistake.

They should put you in charge of writing legislation for the Democratic party! You really capture the spirit of an issue!

Here’s hoping there’s clear enough evidence that we the people can eventually feel satisfied with whatever the outcome of this is.
