BOCS attempts to kill jobs

After digesting the gobbledeegoop from Corey via  County Attorney Horan, I have come to the conclusion that the Board of County Supervisors are just job killers.  All the BS and blather from Corey  Stewart about attracting jobs and business to PWC is just that, BS and blather.  We still haven’t forgotten all the jobs lost from the double dealing with Eric Finley’s asphalt plant  Now we have Pete Candland attempting to hire office staff.   Mr. Candland was attempting to hire one Reece Collins.  He apparently doesn’t need him full time.  I expect if he did however, the BOCS would find some new amendment to throw at him to make that job creation unacceptable.  The BOCS, in essence, outlawed hiring someone with exactly Mr. Collin’s attributes.  Imagine that!

Yet Jenkins and Stewart have both denied that Candland was targeted via Collins.  How strange! You would think then, they would have grandfathered in Mr. Collins if it was totally unintentional.  At least if you are going after someone politically, have the cajones to admit it.

The BOCS might think they have won but they just won a battle.  They will not win the war.  The people of Prince William County will not forget.  The people of the Gainesville Magisterial District have longer memories than most.   I HATE bullies.  Sorry dudes, you were bullies.  You bullied the new kid in town.  You were given a chance to back off gracefully where no one lost face.  You chose not to do it.  One of you could have taken him under your wing like Mike May sorta did, and offered to show him the ropes.  You didn’t.  However, it is patently obvious that one of you all is snoozling up to a disgrntled employee who had to be terminated.  That is never wise.

Only play a tough man’s (or woman’s) game with someone who has as much to lose as you do.

Journalists turn on Daily Caller reporter for rude behavior

Bad Boy Munro doesn't deserve a raise.

Sam Donaldson was noted for giving President Reagan, in particular, a rough time at press conferences and other events.  However, Donaldson is fairly outraged over the antics of Daily Caller reporter   Neil  Munro for his crassness and abandonment of decorum during the President’s announcement of  changes in immigration policy.

According to Sam Donaldson, in an email:

“I like Tucker (let all flowers bloom) but I really resent his trying to tie his reporter’s actions to mine.  He knows better.

Never once did I interrupt a president in any way while he was making a formal statement, a speech, honoring awardees or in any other way holding the floor.  Yes, almost always when he was finished in the Rose Garden or in the Briefing Room or at a photo opportunity with other world leaders I tried to question him (only rarely was it a shout on the rope line, more often a more normal tone of voice) and other reporters of course did the same thing along with me.
