A thief is a thief is a thief!
That’s never happened to me, how about you? I believe that was a first fishing experience.

I’d say that fish was having a bad day all around!
Ha! NO kidding! Good one, SA. Can you imagine fishing and something 6 feet long coming along and steaing your fish?
Had this happen to me several times in the Bahamas. When a fish is on the line he emits “panic” vibrations in the water that sharks hone in on. Once they are on the trail, it’s lights out for the fish.
Goes to show..just because you’re NOT in the actual ocean… dunt dunt dunt dunt
does not mean that Jaws ISN”T around.
That’s the thing with Bull Sharks, they are just as comfortable in salt or fresh water.
How do you know it was a bull shark?
Fair Question. Size is right. Only bulls are in fresh water. Bulls are a dime a dozen from SC down through Florida and Louisiana. Aggressive. Everything fits.
Is that fresh water or brackish water? It is at Myrtle Beach so I am assuming (and yes I know what that makes me) it is either canal, sound or some other salt water.
Does tha tkind of shark bother swimmers? bother = eat
That’s probably salt or brackish water. Probably a bull shark. But…does it really matter? I’m not going swimming again. Ever. Even in a bathtub. Showers forever!
I think I’ll be nervous turning on the tap. Beer forevermore!
Bulls are the record-setters for aggressive behavior towards humans. Almost every east coast attack you hear of is a bull shark. You are right about brackish water.
