This just isn’t any way to talk to a guest. Hannity is a bully. Very few presidents have been vilified as Obama has been. Clinton and Bush II may be be running a real close second.
I thought I believed in having an ID to vote. Notice the past tense. After seeing what was done to Prince William County to carve up districts to produce a willing ticket, I now question if the voter ID situation wasn’t motivated by similar attempts to alter outcome rather than the intended stated reason.
There are lots of ways to cut down on possible voter fraud other than risking disenfranchised voters, who happen to fall in categories like minority, poor, student, young old. One way would be to require funeral homes to notify the state board of election of deaths. Just getting the names of dead people off the voter registration list would be the place to start if that was the real desired outcome.
Meanwhile, Sean Hannity is still a bully. Only a fool would go on his show. Voting machines do break and often have errors. Total reform is needed. Additionally, rules about absentee and early voting need reform also. More needs to be done at the polls to protect voter privacy. All these issues have been ignored.
Unless voters are breaking rules, they should not be photographed nor should pets be allowed other than service animals. That Herndon dude with the great dane needs to leave his pup at home.
This just isn’t
Hannity has always bullied guests. So? He’s not having any trouble selling advertising space!
Let us agree that Hannity is not the “thinking man’s” pundit.
I don’t know why people like him and Limbaugh. Maybe they represent something that person feels he or she(hosely hes) missing in personality.
I havent recovered from how PWC was literally carved up into bits and pieces. What was done to it should be illegal. Not for any racial reasons…just because counties shouldnt be sliced and diced.
I never really got the chance to listen to Limbaugh. I used to listen to Hannity on XM on the drive home when I had a longer commute. He is what he is. I don’t care for his repetition, and I rarely catch anything that strikes me as being the result of deep thought. Hannity’s TV show is much like his talk show, so I usually have better things to do. Glenn Beck is different. I didn’t like his TV show at all, but his radio program is funny as hell!
And Glenn Beck is one sick mofo.
@Moon-howler
OR… the talk radio guys give a different perspective than the rest of the media, and we find them (some of them) funny and entertaining. I like Beck and Limbaugh and most of their guest hosts. I don’t like Savage. Hannity…meh.
@Cargo
i will send you hers.
I hate talk radio…regardless. We got sliced and diced worst than most places in the world. I think we have 5 delegates and at least 5 state senators. I think we might have 3-4 fed reps. Someone correct me on my numbers. We aren’t that big of a county.
@Moon-howler
As for the slicing and dicing….a lot of the counties end up that way. The gerrymandering happens for two reasons. One) The federales state that certain states MUST have districts that are majority black two) power.
Personally, I think it should be divided geometrically and by population. No stretched out snakes of districts. But, then, I think that we need to, at least, double the size of the House of Representatives.
I don’t know if I’d agree with doubling the size of the House but I’d like to hear why you think that would be a good idea?
I think we need to stop having these really oddly shaped districts in order to achieve the purpose of satisfying minority groups (mine included).
I used to listen to Hannity during my commute home, but quickly tired of him. The information content was low and I frequently found myself in a bad mood after listening to him.
I found I was in a foul mood after Fox and Friends. Now Joe Scarborough is doing the same thing to me. He tends to be a pita during an election. I think he still wishes he were in Congress at times.
I like music in the car. It puts me in a better mood.
I’m a Howard Stern man personally
That sure explains a few things. 👿
@Moon-howler
8 Delegates and 5 Senators from all of little ole Prince William. Federal is 3 House and 2 Senate. Your numbers were close, Moon.
@Ray, that really is slice and dice!! No country should be chopped up that much.
Yeah, you put that very well. I liked the “endless love” piece with Chris Matthews, and when Tavares would call in, but aside from that, I couldn’t agree with you more.
I can’t stand listening to Chris Matthews either. He slobbers when he talks.
Hannity spends at least 15 minutes of every hour on a solo rant, repeating the same things over and over. After hearing him go over the same rant for the nth time defending against “Republicans want dirty air, dirty water and want to throw Granny over a cliff” I had to get myself to the library for another audiobook. I can’t stand that kind of repetition.
Actually some of the funniest stuff ever caught on film is watching Chris Matthews’ face change when someone asks him, mid-interview, about the tingle going up his leg. It’s classic stuff.
