Governor Patrick gave a rousing speech. He tells all that is good about the Democrats. He almost upstaged the first lady who was just magnificent.  Governor Patrick tells what the Democrats believe in.

12 Thoughts to “Mass Governor brings it home for Obama”

“Democrats, it’s time to grow a backbone” I loved that line. Governor Patrick went through all the accomplishmnts of President Obama and it was fabulous. It’s about time the dems stopped allowing the republicans to create their own narrative and not the one I have witnessed.

    1. What a great speech. That one had fire.

“They’ve broken out in chants of ‘USA!, USA!’ just like Republicans.

This is a hotter floor than the Republicans had, it’s more varied
racially and ethnically and also more colorful… they look happy
    to be here.”

    1. It is a hotter floor for sure. Its definitely a festive mood and the speeches that I have heard have been great. I am ready to sign back up with the Democrats. Of course, that doesn’t make up for the fact that I would have to …putting on my best Eeyore face…be a Democrat in Prince William County that would just depress me. Woe is me!!!

And, the main speakers actually, loudly and proudly, have tons of acolades for the “guest of honor” , unlike with a couple of main republican speakers who talked more about themselves than Mitt Romney.

    1. Nothing wrong with loud and proud!!! (and some backbone)

I will put up the first lady’s speech later this afternoon.

  4. So Pokie, Cargo, do you all watch the Democratic Convention like we watch the Republican Convention?

I am interested in what people have to say.

I’ve been watching more than I thought I would. I’m looking forward to Sandra “You should pay for my sex change” Fluke, and Big Chief Warren. Occasionally I need to change to something else, because it makes me throw up in my mouth a little bit listening to “you all belong to government, resistance is futile” stuff too long.

Can’t wait to see Clinton tonight.

And it’s very revealing that the empty chair got the most applause and cheers at the Republican national convention than any of their speakers did. Their convention was nothing short of a disaster. That empty chair had more personality than their nominee, hahaha!

That isn’t an opinion, that is just pure stupidity. Keep your opinions to yourself on them here.

The government statement got grabbed up before it was finished. It was a good concept that came out awkwardly.

but seriously, I don’t want those folks mocked and mimicked tomorrow. If they get up there and their fly is down, that is one thing. If you disagree with something they say, then my all means, say why you disagree. but the tanto remarks and your comments about Fluke really don’t belong here.

I don’t go to other people’s blogs and do that.

I didn’t watch the Republican convention until the last day. I wanted to watch Rubio and Clint Eastwood.

Other than that…why watch? We know what’s going to happen. In fact, why is there a Democrat convention? Obama was unopposed.
