Parsing the state of the county might take a month. What stands out could be Corey welcoming each and every county newcomer. Is this Mr.Corey “Anti-immigration” Stewart? Has Corey had a frontal lobotomy? Is he now welcoming the dreaded illegal alien? My how things have changed.

Our Tax bills are 7% less than they were in 2007? My house is worth 30% less. Shouldn’t those two percents be a little closer?

Corey makes it too easy. I won’t hog all the fun. I will give you guys a turn. Have at it! Find the lies. Make Corey’s nose grow.

8 Thoughts to “As the nose grows…..State of the County”

  1. Little John

Once the Lt. Gov. race is over and Corey is back in PWC for good, you won’t be able to get this kind of entertainment for free any more.

    1. He will rise again….as long as he draws breath

  2. Scout

The ultimate political opportunist. The immigration thing worked for a while. He rode it into the ground. Now the fashions have changed. He threw that outfit into the dumpster and will don entirely new garb for the coming round.

  3. Elena

I don’t know if I can watch it, will I laugh or curse?

  4. Elena

I wonder how many times Corey stared into his bathroom mirror and tried out the different intonations and facial expressions!

I love how Corey is attempting to take credit for the job stats! What a hoot! Anyone with a modicum of intelligence knows that our employment opportunitities are outside this county, most of which are supported by the federal government in measure.

Which, brings me back to the north/south highway which will use up our undeveloped land to line the pockets of developers. Yes, a genius idea, we build more houses while exporting our workers into Loudon and Fairfax county to support THEIR commercial base.

  6. Taxes and value correlate? HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

I was working for that foreclosure firm that was covering houses in PWC. I noticed that the way your taxes were set up, that some people lost 200K on the value and yet were paying $200 MORE on that value than they had the first time.

  7. @Cargo, please tell me I was not one of those people.

I simply don’t believe the bull crap about the jobs. Are they talking about dishwashers and lawn care people?

What new companies have come to town and are hiringlots of professional people?

None that I am aware of. Does Corey think that new retail people at Walmart in Haymarket are getting him in CNN money? I am not trying to disparage retail workers but that isn’t what is getting you the cover of any magazines.

I think the jobs are elsewhere and people are buying in PWC because they can’t afford any place else. What they don’t know is that their new commute time = forever.
