Isn’t this just a damn shame! Regardless of what thoughts are in a person’s head, haven’t most of us been raised to have good manners? Calling someone, anyone, the N word, is just bad manners. Calling the President of the United States anything other than (to date) “Mr. President” or “Sir” is just ill-mannered and a tremendous breach of protocol.
Maybe the First Amendment just isn’t all it is cracked up to be. Can we at least take away people’s Twitter account for just being low class?
This is odd… President Obama has been on twitter for YEARS now via that tax exempt non-partisan 501c 4 group OFA. The video shouldn’t be titles “Obama joins Twiter” it should be “Obama creates a second Twitter account” or “Obama joins Twitter… again”.
BTW… racist comments to or about anyone let along the President is a damn shame. I agree with you there. However, I think some of these obnoxious tweets directed at the President are from liberals.
They do this type of stuff all of the time, if you want examples I can provide you with plenty. Like I said before, the President has been on Twitter for years now. Why would someone just now send a stupid tweet to him? This smells like a setup by the left…. just saying.
@Jackson Bills
Who really cares? This is his personal account. Regardless, how about the point of the article?
Interesting conspiracy theory…..it couldnt possibly be racist pigs. There are none in America. It must have been liberals. Yea, that’s the ticket…..
How does POTUS have enough time to fool around with Twitter? What’s next? He’ll be posting on the blogs?
Losers feeling emboldened by anonymity.
Politics? The White House clearly gave this article to the WP. Evidence of the narrative that has been frustratingly hard to prove with police attacks was needed.
One poster showed the President with a rope around his neck – guess he’s pleased with what will pop up regarding him on a Google search. Sure his Mom is just tickled and his “canny wit” is appreciated by his friends.
“The writer, Jeff Gullickson of Minneapolis, subsequently posted on Thursday that his reply to Mr. Obama had earned him a visit from the Secret Service at home. Reached for comment, Mr. Gullickson responded by asking in an email how much The New York Times would pay him for an interview.”
There seems to be a lot of that going around.
What an odd thing to say… you must not have read my comment.
“BTW… racist comments to or about anyone let along the President is a damn shame. I agree with you there. However, I think some of these obnoxious tweets directed at the President are from liberals.”
Notice how I agree with you, and then say SOME of the racist tweets…? Nah, of course not.
