So when the Department of Defense on Monday tweeted this…

One just have to wonder if there is a connection between the message and POTUS. Between the election and the inauguration POTUS has used his Twitter account to attack no less than 30 people and things.
It wouldn’t surprise me if we don’t see more of this. As POTUS attempts to censor more and more agencies, we will see more rogue messages. Then perhaps POTUS will understand that he isn’t the only one with a Twitter account. This dude isn’t too far off from being a dictator.
I agree with you Moon, I think that the DoD tweet was a bit of trolling and it was quite funny in my opinion. I’ll be the first to admit that I don’t like President Trump using twitter the way he does and wish he would just stop.
“As POTUS attempts to censor more and more agencies, we will see more rogue messages.”
You do know that this is a standard procedure with a change in administration right? President Obama did the same thing after he was sworn into office. This is done so that agency releases can be coordinated to reflect the incoming administration’s policy. One agency official even said that he basically dusted off Obama’s memo and reissued it for President Trump.
When President Obama’s administration did the same thing they called criticism “overblown” and I think that is that same in this case as well.
I understand that your boss can censor you if you are on duty and using their equipment. I also understand that the boss is the government in this case and that there are special rights about free speech when it comes to the government.
I can’t understand denying the dissemination of scientific information.
