Corey knows better than this.  Here are the results of the straw poll taken at the annual PWC Lincoln Reagan Dinner which were released:

“Longtime conservative leader, 2014 U.S. Senate nominee and 2017 Republican candidate for governor Ed Gillespie won the straw poll at the Prince William County GOP Lincoln-Reagan Dinner Saturday night with over 60 percent of the vote.

Gillespie won with 62 percent of the vote, followed by Corey Stewart at 24 percent, Denver Riggleman at eight percent, and Frank Wagner at three percent. The Prince William County straw poll is the largest straw poll conducted in the primary to date.

Gillespie – 62%, 165 votes

Stewart – 24%, 65 votes

Riggleman – 8%, 23 votes

Wager – 3%, 8 votes”

Several local attendees have told me that most of the people there were Prince William Republicans.  Next thing you know Corey will assume the mantle of his hero, Donald “Lyin'” Trump and start telling us marauding gangs of Democrat [sic] communist agitators were there manipulating the votes and that Corey really won.

As I recall, the people of Prince William County do not support liars.  Didn’t the county resoundingly support Marco Rubio during the Republican primary?

Corey, run an honest campaign.  Stop trying to emulate Trump.  He won’t be around all that long.  He will either quit and go home or be removed from office.

Corey has some decent leadership skills.  He just isn’t using them productively.  He would rather be someone he isn’t, trying to attract a conservative base.

Corey, you really aren’t fooling anyone. You are basically a nice guy, but you are going around the state trying to be Billy-Bad-Ass.  It isn’t working.   Be yourself.

    There were no buses outside the event. How can Lying Corey say people were bussed in when there were no buses outside? Corey, you lost the straw poll because people in Prince William know you.
