In light of an Iranian nuclear scientist being killed in a car bombing, it seems only right to call attention to Jon Stewart’s dire warning to Iran.  He sternly takes the errant country to Camera 3, Jon’s serious camera.  There, he kicks their booty and warns them of what might be coming down the pike:

Will it ever be over?  Pious Bologna!  Newt Gingrich can dish it out, when he plays “Johnny 3-Wives”

Is everyone tired of the debates?  Will they run out of things to talk about?  I have stopped watching and just catch the reruns.

Jon Stewart helps Republican primary voters come to grips with what they are about to do and tries to steer them around making this decision.  He tries to convince them that Newt isn’t Reagan.  Newt is what Reagan would have been if he had been plucked out of his home as a babe and raised by cactuses.  Newt Gingrich is NOT the Great Right Hope.

In many respects, this is old news.  On the other hand, Newt’s  arrogance is like watching a well orchestrated train wreck.  You just cannot turn away.   What is the likelihood Newt will win the party nomination?  If not Newt, then who will carry the standard for the GOP?

Are we going to have to go through all of them?  Oddly enough, the Republicans have skipped the really unbaggaged intelligent ones.  Both Romney, Newt and Jon Huntsman are intelligent and knowledgeable.  However, Newt has so much baggage it will be hard to elect someone so unlikeable. 

Stewart has declared Bachmann, Perry, Gingrich and Cain to be zombies who don’t even know they are dead.  Jack Abramoff has called Newt corrupt.  You know you are bad when that guy thinks you are corrupt.

 President Obama has managed to end 2 out of the three wars this week. 

Gaddafi has been killed thus ending our involvement with Libya.  Additionally, President Obama has announced that all Iraqi troops will be home by year’s end. 

Many of the hawks like Lindsay Graham and John McCain have criticized the president for pulling out and leaving the country unprotected.  But was this really Obama’s doing?  According to benchmark records, President Bush signed an agreement with the newly formed Iraqi government to leave all Iraqi territory by December 31, 2011.  Hmmmmm….why is this Obama’s fault?  

 Some might say he was a poor negotiator.  Others might say he honors prior commitments of other presidents.

Michele Bachmann truly is the gift that keeps on giving. Rarely has a presidential candidate provided us with so much entertainment.

There is no end to putting her foot in her mouth and there is no apology for gaffes or insensitive remarks. 

We will continue to post Bachmannisms from time to time.  Her proclivity towards foot in mouth disease is filling in the gap caused by Jon Stewart’s two week vacation.

Have you heard about the next planned “Survivor” show?

Mayor Bloomberg (NYC), Kathy Black (NYC Schools’ Chancellor), Governor Walker ( Wis ) , Governor Kasich (Ohio) and Governor Christie (NJ) will be dropped in an elementary school classroom for 1 school year. Each of them will be provided with a copy of his/her school district’s curriculum, and a class of 20-25 students.

Each class will have a minimum of five learning-disabled children, three with A.D.H.D., one gifted child, and two who speak limited English. Three students will be labeled with severe behavior problems.

Each of them must complete lesson plans at least 3 days in advance, with annotations for curriculum objectives and modify, organize, or create their materials accordingly. They will be required to teach students, handle misconduct, implement technology, document attendance, write referrals, correct homework, make bulletin boards, compute grades, complete report cards, document benchmarks, communicate with parents, and arrange parent conferences. They must also stand in their doorway between class changes to monitor the hallways.

United States Capital this Christmas season.  This isn’t for any
religious reason. They simply have not been able to find

Jon Stewart gives us his comparison between the three cable networks. It doesn’t end up very pretty. Actually his entire show was hilarious. Check it out at www.thedailyshow.com. He takes no prisoners. My favorite was his spoof on Mika and Joe Scarborough. Joe (Joey S) sure enjoyed saying ‘whore’ and Mika showed her usual prissy, distainful self. I can’t stand Mika so I laughed. Meanwhile:
